“Are you having fun teasing me, Julius?” I growled.
He licked his lip and smiled up at me. “I don’t do things unless they’re fun, Daddy.”
I slid one hand up around his neck, and he took in a deep breath and let his head fall back against the wall. “Youaretrouble.”
“You already told me that, Daddy,” he practically purred.
“I did, and I also told you I was here for it.”
I didn’t give him a chance to say anything else. Didn’t want to hear another word come outta that pretty mouth unless it was my name.
I leaned in and kissed him hard, like I’d been starving for it—because hell, I had. All that teasing, the way he kept smirking like he knew exactly how far I’d let him push.
He gripped my shirt tight, like he’d been waiting just as long, and when he whimpered against my mouth, I lost whatever hold I had on my patience. I kissed him deeper, tilting his chin up so I could claim every smart-mouthed inch of him. His mouth was delicious and briny from the dirty martini, and I couldn’t get enough.
“Excuse me,” someone said, brushing past us, reminding me that we were in the hallway surrounded by people.
I pulled back and looked down at him. Normally, in a situation like this, I’d pull the guy into the bathroom for a quicky and call it good, but not tonight.
“Sugar, the things I want to do to you are going to take time. How about if we leave here and go to my place?”
“Your place, huh?”
“Or yours. It’s up to you, but I want all night with you.”
“Sounds good to me. I do need to go to the bathroom, though, so why don’t you go back to the table and get me another drink? It won’t take me but a minute.”
I brushed a kiss across his lips and smiled. “Okay, I’ll be waiting.”
Julius
I stood there and watched him go. He was wearing a tight t-shirt and a pair of jeans that fit like they were custom-made to accentuate his ass. Fuck, he was hot, and such a good kisser. I was totally on board with going home with him.
I went to the bathroom and took care of business, then I went to the sink to wash my hands. I grinned at my reflection in the mirror. All he’d done was kiss me, and I already looked wrecked. My lips were puffy and my curls were a mess. I couldn’t wait to see what he did when we were alone and he had time. I thought about trying to put myself back together, but decided I liked the look. I made quick work of washing my hands and then pushed open the door to the bathroom.
I stepped out into the hall just in time for two men to stumble by me. I recognized the boy from earlier when Gator and I were dancing, but I’d never seen the guy he was with before. As theywent by, the boy looked at me and our eyes met, but I’m not sure he even saw me. His eyes were glazed, and he was stumbling along, leaning most of his weight on the man he was with.
At first, I thought maybe he’d had a bit too much to drink, but that didn’t make sense. Just a few minutes before, he was on the floor dancing and he seemed fine. Even if he was a lightweight, I don’t think he could get that wasted that quickly. I stood there for a minute trying to decide what I should do. I didn’t have long to decide, though, because I quickly realized the guy was taking him to the back door of the club.
Any thoughts I might have that he was taking him out back so he could get some air and sober up quickly disappeared when I heard the boy say, “I don’t feel so good. Who are you? Where are you taking me?”
That didn’t sound like someone who was drunk. That sounded like someone who was higher than a kite. I went after them just as the guy pushed open the door and they stepped out.
“Hey, wait. Where are you taking him?” I called after them, but the man kept pulling the boy forward and didn’t even look my way. I made it to the door just before it closed and pushed my way out. And shit. That wasn’t good. There was a black car that was running, parked just outside the area that was illuminated by the light that hung above the back door. Two guys stood by the car waiting for them, which made no sense. It was hard to say in the shadows, but I got a really bad vibe off those guys.
Without even thinking, I started down the back steps and headed towards them.
“I said, where are you taking him?” I repeated loudly so all three of them would know I was there and that I saw them. I had a feeling that if they got this guy in the back of that car, it wouldn’t end well for him.
The man glanced over his shoulder at me before shoving the boy towards one of the other guys. “Get him in the car. I’ll grab that one and we’ll take him with us.”
He started back towards me, and as much as I wanted to help the other guy, I couldn’t do anything for him if they took me, too. I turned on my heel and ran for the back door. I wasn’t sure if I would make it or not, but I ran every morning before I went to work, so I had a chance. I could hear his footsteps right behind me when I grabbed the doorknob and pulled open the door. I slammed it behind me and reached for the lock. The dead bolt clicked into place just as the knob of the door turned, but the lock held, and the door didn’t move. Holy shit, that was close. But even though I made it, that boy was still out there. I ran down the hall and headed right for the table where Gator was waiting for me.
He stood up just as I got there, and I stopped so I could catch my breath. I took in a couple of quick breaths before saying, “I think I just saw someone get abducted in the alley. We need to call the police.”
Mika gasped. “Are you okay?”
I started to say yes, but I started shaking from the adrenaline.
