Story: Gamble with Me
Grasping his broad shoulders for support, I quickened my rhythm, bouncing on his cock ferociously.
The pressure in my lower abdomen became unbearable, and the explosion was massive.
The world around me blurred, and stars danced before my eyes.
Zyon finished a moment after me, burying his face into my neck.
I wrapped around him like a snake, holding him as close as possible.
“I love you, too,” I breathed, unwilling to let him go, even when he tried to free himself from my hold.
He chuckled and lay back, bringing me down with him.
From the armchair close to us, he yanked a blanket and covered our naked, entangled bodies, creating a barrier between us and the rest of the world.
“How is the wound?” I asked, my fingers traveling down his torso to the scar. Dorian removed the stitches but warned us about the consequences of intense exercise. Zyon could injure himself if he overworked himself.
“Hurts like fuck,” he replied, brushing my hair tenderly.
“What?” I lifted myself, yet he immediately hauled me back into his arms.
“I’m joking. Everything is fine.”
I frowned at him but didn’t object to his loving embrace. Resting my head on his chest, I traced the lines of his tattoos, savoring the feeling of pure happiness.
“Giovanni Valentino is dead,” Zyon said, disturbing the peaceful moment. I raised my head, my eyes wide as saucers. “He was the last one of the old capos of the Five Families. The news is full of his mysterious end.”
“Who killed him?” I exhaled, recalling the memory of Malin’s proud expression this morning.
“It doesn’t matter.” Zyon continued to play with my hair mindlessly, glancing somewhere behind me. “All five leaders of the Italian crime families are gone. My resurrection is planned for tomorrow. ”
“Resurrection?” I smiled, shaking my head in amusement.
“What would you call it?” he asked, repositioning his head so he could see me better.
“Back from vacation,” I answered with a wide grin, leaning down and kissing him. “It was the best two weeks of my life.”
“I couldn’t agree more, mon c?ur,” he muttered, pulling me closer and deepening the kiss when the door to his office slammed open.
“Zyon?” Zara’s high-pitched voice almost gave me a heart attack, and I immediately hid under the blanket. Thankfully, she couldn’t see me right away, but if she walked around the couch, she would have a terrific view of our bare bodies.
“Yes, princess?” Zyon suppressed a laugh, trying to sound serious yet failing miserably.
“I need help with math,” Zara said, walking inside. My heart missed another beat. I had no idea how to explain this to a seven-year-old child.
“I’m expecting an important call. Give me ten minutes, okay?” Zyon winked at me, but I wasn’t so sure he would get her out.
“Okay. Can I wait here?” she asked, her soft steps echoing on the wooden floor. Zyon cast me a horrified look, finally understanding the severity of the situation. He frowned, supporting himself on his elbow and peeking at her.
“No, princess,” he replied regretfully. “Those things aren’t for your ears.”
“Fine. I’ll be in the living room.” She sounded disappointed but listened to him without objections.
“I’ll be there in a moment,” Zyon confirmed, his face reflecting hope that she would leave soon.
Zara’s feet made tiny steps, and I couldn’t wait to hear the door close. I watched Zyon as his gaze escorted her out when she stopped.
“Where is your T-shirt?” she asked innocently. I almost burst out laughing at Zyon’s expression .
“I stained it with coffee,” he reacted promptly. “It was all wet. Will you bring me another one?”
“Of course,” Zara chirped, running away from his office.
“Shit,” he exhaled loudly, lifting the blanket. “That was close.”
“Better get ready for math homework,” I teased, quickly gathering my clothes. We had less than five minutes until Zara returned, all joyful that she could help her favorite patient.
“I need to tell you one more thing before she comes back.” Zyon took hold of my hand, sitting me beside him. I looked into his serious face, my chest tightening.
“Chester is the last one on my list,” he said, looking directly into my eyes. “He’s a threat to you and Zara. I don’t want you to leave this house without bodyguards.”
“I told you yesterday,” I reminded him of our long night conversation, “he left. He knows he lost. Why would he stay?”
“Chester wants revenge, Valeria,” Zyon claimed with absolute certainty. “He won’t stop until he gets it.”
“Tomorrow, he will find out you’re alive. If he didn’t run away before, he would surely escape after your resurrection .” I cast him a pointed look and wide smile, but it didn’t affect him.
“Promise me to always go out with at least one guard,” Zyon demanded, clutching my hand. I knew my and Zara’s safety was crucial for him.
“I promise,” I confirmed, resting my forehead against him. “But you must promise me the same, love. He wants to get you more than anyone.”
“I’m well aware of that, mon c?ur.” He placed a hand on my cheek, brushing it with his thumb. “I don’t make the same mistakes twice. He’ll be mine and not the other way around.”
