“Be a good girl, take the dress off and go get on the bed.” Gray’s voice interjects, smooth and silky, his calmer tone contrasting sharply with Phoenix’s intensity.
My heart hesitates as my body begs to surrender to the promise of pleasure, the need to feel alive, and I let their words sink in.
Maybe they aren’t as crazy as I thought.
Well, maybe just crazy with this obsession.
Phoenix’s hand releases my chin and I step back, my fingers trembling as I reach for the hem of my dress. Slowly, deliberately, I lift it over my head, revealing the lace bralette and thong that barely covers my body.
Part of me screams to rebel, to walk out and reclaim my dignity but as I lock eyes with Gray, something inside me twists, a dark curiosity mingling with defiance.
For the first time tonight, I forget to be angry.
Because I can feel it, the shift, the truth neither of us will say out loud.
I don’t know if they’re breaking me…
Or if I’m breaking them.
Each of them waits expectantly until I take a small step towards the bed, the fabric of my dress sliding down my skin like water.
The room pulses with anticipation as I feel their smirks return, satisfaction lighting up their faces. I climb onto the edge of the bed, heart thumping wildly as I look back at them. I feel self-conscious under their scrutiny. Their perfect bodies are a stark contrast to my curvy one.
Wrapping my arms around my stomach, I try to appear smaller, to disappear into the shadows of the room.
The air is thick, charged with an electric anticipation as I avoid gazing at the Greek gods before me.
Their very presence feels intoxicating and intimidating, a duality that sends shivers racing like a wildfire down my spine.
“Is this what you wanted?” I challenge, pushing back against the fear feathering the edges of my awareness. I hope for an ounce of power in this precarious position, as my heart pounds an echoing rhythm of uncertainty.
Phoenix steps forward, his eyes blazing with a mixture of both hunger and possession that makes my breath catch. “No, sunshine, we want so much more.” His words pulse warmly in the air between us, igniting an unbidden heat rising within me, even as I remain reluctant to yield to their allure.
Gray shakes his head, stepping closer, his movements graceful yet predatory. “We can give you what you need, and you know it.”
I bite my lip, feeling a war wage inside of me; a dark curiosity tugs at my heart, an alluring pull to surrender twisted tight with the remnants of pride that cling desperately to my spirit .
I glance between them, the flames of desire swirling in their gazes, smoldering beneath the surface like a volcano waiting to erupt.
“Let’s find out just how much you desire us, shall we?” Phoenix suggests, a wolfish smile creeping onto his lips, revealing perfectly straight teeth that gleam under the faint light.
Gray leans casually against the dresser, hands shoved in his pockets, his posture oozing confidence that borders on arrogance.
It should be a sin how devastatingly sexy these two gods are.
I can’t help but see how Gray’s corded muscles ripple beneath his shirt—his arms threw me around in bed the last time we did this.
“You know, you could have avoided all this, but you’ve intrigued us, darling.” He arches an eyebrow, a smug smile dancing on his lips.
The tension in the room thickens, wrapping around us like a silken thread, binding me to them. A magnetic force pulling me closer, even as I fight against it. “Intrigued?” I echo, my voice barely above a whisper. “Is that all I am to you?”
Phoenix steps closer, his presence overwhelming. “You’re so much more than that. You’re a puzzle we want to solve, a mystery we crave to unravel.”
I shiver at his words, the promise of something deeper lurking beneath the surface. “And what if I don’t want to be solved? What if I want to remain a mystery?” I cross my arms, trying to hide the ghost of a smile threatening to break.
“You think this is a game, sweetheart?” Phoenix asks, stepping closer, his tone heavy with intent. “This is your life, sunshine, and now you’re trapped in our net. You’re going to play by our rules.”
Biting my lip, I feel the undeniable pull between us—the tension is like a coiled spring ready to snap. I have never been one for submission, but the heat in their eyes ignites a smoldering desire I’ve never dared to explore.
“I don’t even know your rules,” I manage, feeling my heart race wildly as their visages draw nearer.
“Oh, don’t worry,” Gray purrs, his eyes gleaming with mischief, a predator savoring its meal. “We’ll make sure you learn them… thoroughly .”
I scowl at him, unwilling to let them see just how much their words affect me. “Why did you even bring me up here if all we’re going to do is talk? We could have done that downstairs.” I raise an eyebrow defiantly, hoping to mask the underlying thrill running through me.
Without missing a beat, Gray drops to his knees before me, the dangerous glint in his eyes stirring excitement deep within my belly.
“Who said we weren’t going to do anything?
” he questions, his voice low before he quickly pushes my legs apart.
His warm hands skate up my bare thighs, slow and seductive, igniting every nerve-ending along the way.
“We have plans for you, sunshine,” he murmurs, his breath swirling across my skin like a gentle flame. I try to pull away, but his grasp is unyielding, like a vine wrapping its tendrils around me.
“What kind of plans?” I gasp, my voice shaky, laced with a mixture of apprehension and forbidden excitement but instead of answering, he only tightens his grip, his eyes darkening with a primal intensity that makes my stomach twist with exhilaration.
“You think you can just walk away from us?” he growls, a hint of amusement threading through his voice as he tangles his free hand in my hair, tugging firmly. It forces my head back to meet his smoldering gaze, and my breath hitches in my throat, anticipation mixing with fear.
I open my mouth to speak, to protest, to assert my independence, but no words emerge. Phoenix watches, his presence both a comfort and a challenge as Gray’s whiskey-colored eyes seem to pierce right through me.
“You’ll never be rid of us, Rowyn,” Nix says, his voice low but firm, the weight of his words hanging in the air like a promise. “We’ll be your shadow, lurking just behind you, always watching, always waiting. ”
Gray leans in, his gaze intense. “No matter where you go, we’ll be there. You can try to escape, but we’ll always find you. We’re not just a passing phase; we’re a part of you now.”
His touch grows insistent, his fingers tracing warm, lingering circles on my inner thigh, provoking delightful shivers with every stroke.
“You think you can shake us off? Forget us? We’re in your veins, Rowyn. You can’t deny what we are to you,” he says, his voice dark and husky, pulling me further into the depths of the storm brewing between us. “We’ve got you, sunshine. We’ll bleed to protect you.”
I can feel the heat radiating off both Phoenix and Gray. They are like twin suns, and I am a ship caught in their orbit, helplessly drawn closer and closer. Every word spoken between us hangs thick in the air, each syllable seeping with tension and an intoxicating promise.
As if sensing my tentative surrender, Gray releases his hold on my hair as his hand slides down to grip my waist, anchoring me in place. “That’s it, baby girl,” he murmurs, his lips brushing tantalizingly against my skin, his breath stirring up the intimate atmosphere. “Let go.”
Gray’s fingers move higher. His caress is electric, igniting sparks that race through my body and send me spiraling. “Relax,” he whispers, his breath warm and teasing against my skin. His voice drips with a mix of authority and affection that makes it impossible to resist.
With a measured intensity, Gray grips my wrists tightly as Phoenix reaches behind him, handing Gray some rope.
My pulse races, a cocktail of fear and thrilling excitement coursing through my veins as the reality of my situation sinks deeper.
This is more than just sensual play; it is a declaration of trust and raw vulnerability.
The rope digs into my wrists as I try to free my hands.
I knew it wouldn’t budge, but I had to try.
“What’s your safe word going to be?” Nix asks.
“I-um, I don’t know.”
“Pick one. Something you’ll remember,” Gray remarks.
“Okay, how about ‘cinnamon’?” I ask, thinking about the last thing I ate.
“Cinnamon, huh?” Gray chuckles. I nod, embarrassingly.
“Is this what you do to all your girls?” I ask, my voice wavering, trying to steady myself against the flood of emotions swirling within me.
Nix chuckles, the sound low and dark, sending a shiver down my spine. “No, sunshine. This is special, just for you,” he says, his eyes gleaming with something dangerous. His proximity amplifies the heat between us, causing my heart to hammer against my chest.
“Say you trust us,” he whispers, his lips brushing against my ear. Heat floods my body and I hesitate for a moment, unsure of how to answer.
Do I trust them?
For some reason I can trust them with my body, but not my heart.
It is a paradox I can’t unravel. My body craves with a force I’ve never experienced but my heart remains sealed away, like an unbreachable fortress.
Each encounter with them is a battle, a clash of desires. They strip away my defenses, leaving me exposed and vulnerable but my heart remains hidden, shielded from their advances. At least it was. There are cracks in my armor now.
Nix cups my cheeks, rubbing soft circles with his thumb as if to encourage me out of my thoughts. “I asked you a question,” he recalls, his voice steady, but the air around us is thick with unsaid promises.
