EPILOGUE

The Kidnapper

Finally, after all this time, my efforts were rewarded.

My eyes are fixed on her, captivated by the gentle movement of her chest as she breathes, unaware of the situation that has befallen her.

Her hair, now a rich shade of brown, partially covers her face as she tilts her head to the side.

I couldn’t take the risk of her keeping her vibrant purple hair, attracting unwanted attention.

They will never find her. I’ll make sure of it.

Rocking on the chair in the corner of the dark room, I keep my eyes locked on her, the sound of ice swirling in my whisky filling the silence.

She looks so pretty when she sleeps.

Her face looks like that of an angel, with her freckles spreading all over her cheeks.

There is a soft sigh that escapes her mouth, but she promptly returns to her peaceful sleep.

For years, I’ve been watching her every move.

She has become my obsession.

I’ll do everything in my power to make her heart swell with love for me and ensure she never walks away.

Even if that means keeping her locked up for the rest of her life.

To be continued...
