Chapter seventeen

Samantha

A knock on the door to my apartment wakes me up from the dead of sleep.

The lights in my apartment are still on—I must've cried myself to sleep, dressed in the same outfit from the dinner.

Glancing at my phone, I see that I have multiple missed calls and texts from Janae, Kade, and Shane.

I don't have the strength to deal with it, so I place the phone back down on the nightstand.

Another knock on the door has me moving to the front door, but I pause for a moment to check my appearance in the hallway—my eyes are red and swollen from the tears.

I try to wipe them away, but to no avail.

Shrugging my shoulders, I don't worry too much about it because it's probably just Janae coming to check on me.

"I'm coming," I yell to whoever is on the other side of the door. Knowing I won't be able to make myself any more presentable, I go to open the front door and my stomach drops when I see who is standing on the other side.

"Hey, wife," Kade greets me. "We have lots to talk about," he says as he moves past me and into my apartment.

"Kade, what are you doing here?" I ask.

"I'm here to convince my wife to come back home," he says.

"This is my home," I sigh.

"Okay," he says.

"Okay?"

"Yeah, if this is your home, then it's my home too." Lifting up a bag, he continues, "Good thing I brought my bag."

"Kade, you don't have to do this. We can just get an annulment; I'll take the blame. I don't mind."

" I mind."

"Don't you want your life back?" I ask him as tears trail down my cheeks.

"The only life I want back is the one with you. Samantha, I'll do anything to be with you," he says, pleading with me.

"Kade, I don't belong in your world. I'm just a normal person who waits tables and wants to become a nurse. Even the way I look doesn't fit. I'm not the person you want on your arm."

My eyes widen when he takes a step toward me. I watch with bated breath as he moves my long hair to the other side of neck, revealing my collar bone. Kade brushes his lips down my neck and along my collar bone.

"What are you doing?" I mumble, but I don't dare move.

"I'm showing my wife how much she fits me. How much I want her on my arm," he says against my skin.

"I don't know about this," I groan as he makes his way to my breasts.

"I love these things," he mutters as he cups both of my breasts. "They fit perfectly in my hands, overflowing with goodness."

He strokes his hands down the sides of my body.

"These curves fit against my sharp edges perfectly.

I love how soft you are against my hardness.

" Pulling back from me, he grips my chin making sure to look deep in my eyes. I can know from his gaze that he means what he’s about to say one hundred percent.

"Sam, we are at the fourth down and I'm here with my last play, laying it all out for you. Hoping I can make a touchdown.”

"You know I don't know anything about football," I murmur.

"Let me explain it. I would give anything to have you by my side.

Sam, I never wanted to be married, or even in a relationship, but you changed everything for me.

Now all I can picture is you cheering for me at my football games, round with my children, growing old together.

I will destroy any person who thinks they can talk bad about you, my one and only, my queen. "

"Kade," I breathe out, my fists clenched in the front of his shirt. "Sam, will you continue to be my wife?"

"I've always wanted someone who wanted to be with me because of me. Of who I am, not who I'm friends with or what I can give them. And Kade you threw me away. You got with another woman at the club I worked at. I'm not sure I could forgive you for that."

He shakes his head. "I never hooked up with that woman.

I only had her on my lap to help push you away, because I'm a coward.

Sam, I've always known you were marriage material and I was scared that I couldn't hold up to you.

But now I'm more scared to not have you in my life.

I haven't been with another woman since you. "

"Really?"

"Yeah. You've always been the endgame for me. I just didn't know how to deal with it," he says.

Leaning into him, I whisper against his lips, "You better be telling me the truth, husband, because I'm in love with you and I'll gut you if you hurt me again."

Kade lets out a deep laugh at my words, pressing his lips against mine. "I love you too, wife."

With those words, I yank his shirt off of him, kissing down his chest. I make my way to his waistband, unbuttoning his pants. I hastily pull them down, forcing a chuckle from Kade. "In a hurry, baby?"

"Always," I say.

Kade helps me pull his pants down as I undress myself. Our lips meet each other again, deepening it. Kade's large hands go under my legs, lifting me up as if I weigh nothing. I wrap my legs around his waist, lining my pussy up with his fat cock.

He thrusts into me and I can't help but groan with how it feels when he fills me up.

I meet him with each thrust, clenching around him.

With every movement, his pelvis brushes up against my clit, lifting me higher and higher.

Kade bites down on the edge of my shoulder, and I detonate with the sensation. Kade follows, filling me with his cum.

We both rest against the wall, trying to catch our breaths. After a moment just basking in each other, Kade kisses the tip of my nose. "Let's go clean you up and get ready for bed."
