Yes but looking back I’m not sure he deserved it.

He was a bully. Teased other kids relentlessly. He was a terror but his mom was really sick and he took that anger out on everyone.

I got accused of hating someone the other day.

FaeAtHeart

No. Not even a little.

Why do they think you hate them then?

Because the person hurt me. They broke my heart.

Seems like it’s a good reason not to like them anymore.

I’ve tried not to. But the memories.

He gave me too many good memories.

Yes! Do you have them too?

I do but I don’t mind. I like remembering all the good stuff.

I don’t. The good memories hurt the most. It would be easier if there weren’t so many of them.

I keep hoping one day I won’t be living off of the old memories but making new ones.
