Renea sat quietly, crossing her arms over her chest. The man approached the cage, “Hello little one,” he says slowly. A wicked grin alights on his face.

Renea adjusted her eyes to those of her cat in order to see better and gasped. She remembered something, looking around her she remembered. That night, the night her parents died, she was locked in this very cage. Her and her parents were captured. It had been so long ago, it was so fuzzy and on the edge of her memories. They had escaped, they were running that night when the car went off the road. They were in such a hurry and they didn’t see that truck that had plowed into the back of them. Her mom had grabbed her, Renea sobbed at the memory. Her hand flew to her mouth. She remembered that night plain as day now. This man standing in front of her had killed them. Her mom had made her shift into a small field mouse and she tossed her from the window in a hurry as the car began to careen off the road and down the embankment. The truck had sped off not turning around.

Renea looked up at her captor. It was this man that had killed her parents. He was now her captor again. A second time in her life, she was being held in this cage. There was a difference this time though, her men were looking for her, or at least she hoped they were.

“Ah you do remember me.” he spoke with a chuckle.

Renea didn't answer him and just glared at the man. "If only your parents had done what I asked we wouldn't be here right now. Then again maybe we would." He shrugged his shoulders and sat at the table sliding the chair around to face the cage. "You see little one, your parents died to protect you but they could have chosen to live with you if they would have just done what I asked of them."

Renea growled loudly at his statement. Knowing he had killed her parents only made her more determined to escape this man and rip him to shreds in the process.

"Ah come now little one. Don't be like this. I only need a few children from you. In a few years you can go free. If your mom had been as big of a whore as you are this wouldn't be an issue now would it." He laughed loudly at her enraged look that she shot his way. "You think I haven't watched you play out every single piece of sex this past week with your men. Including that little shower scene, you all enjoyed last night. Now that was hot." He fanned himself with his hand as if to cool himself off.

"How could you have witnessed that? You weren't there and there are no windows in that bathroom." Renea demanded.

"Ah little one, you have so much to learn. You are not the last of your kind. In fact, there are actually two more including myself that are like you." He tapped his fingers on the table, leaning back in the chair. "They are male however and of no use to me. You on the other hand are our last female pure blood descendant. You can save our race from dying out. I was a fly on the wall so to speak that night. I've watched you for weeks now."

He stood and stepped closer to the cage. "You see, I found you at that little bakery you so love. I was there one day grabbing lunch with a client when I smelled you enter the door. I knew immediately who you were and that you hadn't died that night in the car with your parents like I had thought. After watching you a few days it was obvious you had no idea how very special you even were. How you could bring our race back to glory one day."

"You're insane!" Renea told him.

Renea narrowed her eyes at him. She stood and stepped forward, within inches of the bars of the cage, careful not to touch them. Standing there staring at her captor, the man that killed her parents, she growled and shifted into her large white wolf. Baring her teeth and growling, she vowed right then and there that she would kill this man or at least die trying.
