Quill chuckled, peeling out of his light linen jacket and tossing it aside before attacking his bowtie.

Corven didn’t take long to follow suit. He was wearing a kilt—which showed off his handsome legs.

“Leave the kilt on,” Quill whispered. “Just take off everything under it.”

“A true Scotsman doesnae wear anything under his kilt, laddie.”

Corven lifted it as proof.

Quill took two steps closer and dropped to his knees in front of Corven. He grasped the root of him and licked the tip like a lollypop.

Corven groaned, reaching for the nearby doorway. “Oh, laddie… be careful with that wicked tongue of yers.”

“Wicked tongue?” Quill asked, sure his wasn’t wicked at all. He licked Corven from root to tip just to see. “I’m not wicked.”

“Ye might no be, but tha tongue?” Corven chuckled. “Tha tongue surely is.”

Quill smiled to himself before drawing the entire length as far down his throat as he could. He slurped and sucked Corven, tasting a little salty-sweetness that spurred him to suckle a little harder.

“No wicked ma arse,” Corven complained as he threaded one hand through the hair at the back of Quill’s head.

He urged Quill’s pace a bit faster, moving his hips to feed his shaft in and out. After a few more seconds of that attention, he pulled from Quill’s mouth.

Quill frowned, wiping a bit of saliva from the side of his mouth. “Did I do that wrong?”

“As if there’s a wrong way tae dae it.” Corven snorted. “Well, I suppose teeth can be wrong, but no worries, laddie. Ye didnae use teeth.” He knelt, smiling. “I did ye wrong an I should be the one givin pleasure, no takin it.”

“Did me wrong?”

“I considered keepin ye in ma prison, Quill!”

“Because you loved me and wanted to be with me,” Quill replied.

“Oh,” Corven said, grinning even wider. “I love ye, do I?”

Quill’s face went from warm to lava flow in a matter of seconds.

He attempted to back out of what he’d said, but feared it was too late.

“I meant… you had… feelings. Of some kind. I didn’t necessarily mean it was love, but maybe…

lust… or a flicker of… admiration, at the least. I can’t tell you what was going through your mi?—”

Corven pressed two fingers over Quill’s lips to quiet him. “Ye had it right. I did want ye there because I’d fallen for ye. Hard.” He smiled. “I loved ye before the night ye finally met me.”

Quill wrapped his hand around Corven’s wrist and pulled the man’s fingers off his lips. “You really love me?”

“I do.”

Quill felt the sting of tears again, but he didn’t want to cry. He drew in a deep breath and met Corven’s gaze. “I love you, too.”

Corven’s smile faded some.

“I thought you’d be happier,” Quill whispered.

“I’ve waited two thousand years tae hear a man say those words tae me,” Corven murmured. A tear slipped down his cheek. “I ne’er thought I woud.”

Quill gathered his face in both hands and kissed him fiercely.

Corven kissed him back with as much intensity, grabbing his back and pulling them ever closer.

“Ye’re a miracle, Quillie,” Corven whispered against his lips. “Ma miracle.”

“And you feel like mine, too,” Quill whispered back.

Corven scooped him up off the floor, with what strength, Quill wasn’t sure. He carried them into the bedroom and lowered him into the middle of the mattress.

“Now here is where I can show ye just how much I love ye,” Corven said.

Before he got into bed, he removed the last bits of clothing still covering Quill. He’d been in such a rush to have Corven in his mouth, he’d stopped midway through.

“I ken ye like the kilt, but I wan tae be naked with ye,” Corven said as he unfurled it from his waist. “I promise ye I’ll wear them often though,” he added with a wink.

“I’ll hold you to it,” Quill said, winking back.

“Good,” Corven said, his brogue deepening. He pushed Quill back down on the bed. “I do fear that ma little bit o magic is now gone.” He snickered. “Where’s yer lube?”

Quill burst into laughter. He gathered some magic into his palm before opening his legs and spreading it along his hole. “I’ll manage the magic from now on.”

“Oh, I like that,” Corven said before testing Quill’s slick passage. “Well done, laddie.”

Quill laid back, lifting his legs higher to give Corven access. “If you like that trick, I might have a couple more to show you.” He used both hands to spread open his cheeks. “Come inside me, my love.”

“Donnae need tae ask me twice,” Corven said before pressing the head of his cock against Quill’s hole.

He slowly slid inside, all while holding Quill’s gaze.

When they were one once more, Corven caressed his cheek and kissed him with a passion they’d only touched the surface of their last time together. Freed to be together, they had a lifetime to explore it.

The next hour was a slow, languid sharing of the other’s body. When they reached the point they could not hold back any longer, the race was on. They clashed, body against body, thundering toward completion.

They came together, two souls bound together as one forevermore.

Quill collapsed into Corven’s arms, sighing contentedly. Corven kissed his forehead and held on tight.

“Ye are wonderful, ma love,” Corven whispered. “Perfection.”

“Far from perfect,” Quill said, his lids growing heavy with fatigue. “But I’m glad you seem to think so.”

“Ye are perfect. For me,” Corven replied. “An maybe one day, I can be tha for ye.”

Quill looked up at Corven. “Ye are, ma love.”

Corven snorted. “Okay… no longer perfect. Tha Scottish accent was atrocious.”

Quill laughed, rolling over to better face his love. “Then ye will have tae teach me.”

“Oh, I’ll get tha tongue o yours in shape, I will,” Corven murmured before kissing Quill’s breath away. “If it’s the last thing I dae.”

Quill wrapped his arms around Corven’s neck. “I think I’ll be a slow learning and need extra tutoring.”

“Already planned,” Corven said, his lips wide with a smile.
