“You’re mine,” he murmurs against my skin, his breath hot, his voice a rough command.

His hands dip lower, his touch both gentle and demanding, and I gasp as my magic surges, answering his with a glow that pulses between us.

The air crackles, the room alive with the energy of our bond deepening, fated and unbreakable.

He moves over me, his body a weight I welcome, his lips tracing patterns on my skin that leave glowing sigils in their wake.

My own magic marks him in return, a shimmering trace on his shoulder, a silent vow etched into our very beings.

I lose myself in the storm of sensation, the line between us blurring until we’re one.

“Noah,” I whisper, my voice hoarse with need, but he silences me with another kiss, deeper, more consuming.

His hands roam lower, his fingers brushing the edge of my jeans, and I lift my hips, desperate for him to take them off.

He complies, slow and deliberate, his eyes never leaving mine, as if he’s savoring every moment of my surrender.

When I’m bare before him, he growls again, a low, appreciative sound that sends heat pooling between my thighs.

“So beautiful,” he rasps, his gaze devouring me.

His hands glide over my skin, mapping every curve, every dip, as if committing me to memory.

I shiver under his touch, my magic humming in response to his, the air thick with anticipation.

He kisses his way down my body, his lips lingering on my breasts, his tongue swirling around my nipples until I’m arching and moaning. His fangs graze my skin again, a gentle nip that leaves me breathless, craving more. “Noah, please,” I beg, my voice a plea for more, for everything.

He chuckles, a dark, sinful sound, and his mouth moves lower, his breath ghosting over my core. “Impatient, aren’t we?” he teases, his fingers tracing the wetness there, making me squirm.

“You’re killing me,” I groan, my hands tangling in his hair, pulling him closer.

“Not yet,” he murmurs, and then his mouth is on me, his tongue delving deep, his magic intertwining with mine in a dance that leaves me gasping and trembling.

His fingers join, thrusting into me, his touch both gentle and demanding, and I cry out, my magic exploding in bursts of light that illuminate the room.

“Noah,” I moan, my body tightening around him, my release building. He hums against my skin, the vibration sending me over the edge. My magic surges, a wave of power that crashes over us both, and I scream his name as I climax, my body shaking, my magic igniting the sigil on his shoulder.

He rises over me, his eyes dark with desire, his breath ragged. “Your turn,” I whisper, reaching for the buckle of his belt. He catches my hand, pressing a fierce kiss to my palm. “Not yet,” he says, his voice hoarse. “I want to feel you around me when I take you.”

His words send a fresh wave of heat through me, and I nod, my heart pounding. He sheds his clothes quickly, his muscular body a sight that steals my breath. His wolf paw print tattoo gleams in the magical light, a reminder of the primal force he embodies.

He positions himself at my entrance, his eyes locked on mine, his magic swirling around us like a living thing. “Ready?” he asks, his voice a low rumble.

“Yes,” I breathe, my legs opening wider, inviting him in.

He thrusts into me, slow and deliberate, his eyes closing briefly as he savors the sensation.

I gasp at the fullness, at the way our bodies fit together perfectly, our magic merging with each movement.

He begins to move, his hips snapping in a rhythm that drives me wild, his hands gripping my hips, guiding me, claiming me.

“Noah,” I moan, my nails digging into his shoulders as he hits a spot deep inside me that makes my toes curl. His growls fill the room, a primal sound that stokes the fire burning within me. Our magic spirals higher, the air crackling with energy.

“Sera,” he groans, his voice thick with need. “You feel so good.”

“Don’t stop,” I plead, my body tightening around him, my release building again. He chuckles, a dark, sinful sound, and his pace quickens, his thrusts becoming more urgent, more demanding.

“Together,” he commands, his voice a rough whisper. “Come with me.”

His words are my undoing. My magic explodes, a burst of light that fills the room, and I cry out as I climax, my body shaking, my magic marking him again, a shimmering sigil on his arm.

He follows, his growl turning into a roar as he spills into me, his magic surging, leaving a glowing mark on my shoulder.

When we finally collapse against the tangled sheets, my breath is ragged, my skin kissed with magic, and his eyes glow faintly in the dim light.

I feel his heartbeat through my back as he wraps himself around me, a barrier stronger than any spell I could cast.

Sometime later, I drift awake—half-conscious, skin warm, hands still twined with his. The weight of the bond between us presses in, fierce and magnetic. My magic, usually soft and fluid, now hums like live wire beneath my skin, echoing the pulse of his wolf. It feels stronger. More intense.

I shift slightly, and our fingers clasp tighter. Heat stirs between us again, dreamlike and dangerous, a whisper of fire and fur, a promise of what we’ve just begun.

I tilt my head to find his eyes already open, glowing faintly in the dark.

And then I see it.

A massive sigil scorched into the back of my door.

Charred lines snake across the wood, radiating heat, glowing faintly red. I sit up with a jolt, my breath catching in my throat.

A voice—cold and ancient—slithers through the air like smoke from a dying fire: You have initiated the wolf’s curse. The temperature drops. My breath fogs in the air. Every hair on my arms lifts in eerie recognition, as if the magic itself is listening.

I turn to Noah.

To my fated mate.

Did he hear what I just heard? I don't think so.

But by the look on his face, I can see that the sigil on the door isn't lost on him.

And I shudder at what we’ve just unleashed.
