Ronnie

I t was probably a terrible idea to have Alana over for dinner.

Well, there was no ‘probably’ about it. I was pretty sure we were going to have sex.

We both knew it. Hell, we might have had sex on that scaffolding platform if nosy old Mrs. Grant hadn’t driven by.

Where she was going was anyone’s guess. That road only led to more farms, unless she was taking the back road to Camden, the next town over.

Of course if she’d come along a few minutes later, she might have gotten an eye full.

I couldn’t deny that I was having fun with Alana.

More fun than I’d had in years, if I was being totally honest. And if something happened tonight, well, I was going into it with my eyes wide open.

I knew Alana was a short-timer. I fully understood that she’d be gone as soon as she could blow the dust of this small town off her feet again and make it big in the Big Apple.

I wouldn’t be caught by surprise this time.

As long as we both knew what this was from the start, why not have some fun?

Alana was hot as hell, and the attraction between us was potent.

It had been way too long since I’d had sex, why not take advantage of the opportunity to get laid?

I already knew it would be good. Hell, it was good back when we were seniors in high school fumbling around in the barn.

Now that we both knew what we were doing in that department, it could only be better.

One thing about me, I was a pro at justifying bad ideas.

Alana pulled up to my place just before six.

She’d changed into some kind of expensive looking athleisure yoga pants that hugged her curves in a way that made my mouth water.

She’d paired it with a form-fitting shirt that was the exact same shade as her eyes and a light zippered jacket that matched the pants.

“I brought some wine,” she said, holding up a bottle of wine. “I didn’t know if you liked wine though so…” She pulled something out of her tote bag, “I also brought beer.”

We used to drink wine together when we were younger, but back then it was the cheapest wine drink we could sucker my cousin into buying for us. The bottle she’d brought tonight looked more expensive than the Boone’s Farm we used to drink. And it was a merlot, my favorite.

“Perfect,” I said, taking both from her. “Thanks.”

Alana looked around with a smile. “This place looks great, but I have to say I miss those lace doilies your grandma had everywhere.”

“I couldn’t bear to throw them out,” I confessed. “So I boxed them up and put them in the attic.”

We heard a meow as Oliver came strutting into the room, looking at Alana suspiciously. She squatted down and held out her hand.

“Who’s this?”

“That’s Oliver,” I told her. “His mother is one of the barn cats, but she rejected him. I brought him inside intending to release him as soon as he was able to hunt and live on the farm, but he refused to go outside and leave me. He got used to living a life of feline luxury inside.”

“Smart cat,” Alana said.

Oliver gave her one more sniff before walking away, his tail swishing dramatically.

“Come on outside, I need to watch the grill.”

I led her through the kitchen, stopping to put the beer in the fridge, and then we headed out onto the back patio beyond the screen porch.

It had a concrete slab where I’d set up a small barbecue grill and a picnic table for warm days.

It was an idyllic spot, facing a copse of trees that separated the property from everything else, making it feel secluded from the rest of the farm.

“I like the way you handle the grill,” Alana said teasingly as she watched me flip the burgers I was cooking.

She was definitely being flirty tonight, and I didn’t mind that at all. We both knew the score when I invited her here tonight. Suddenly I couldn’t wait to get my hands on her.

I moved the burgers to the top shelf of the grill, closed the lid, and stalked over to Alana. Without a word, I lifted her up to sit on the tabletop of the picnic table, pushed my hips between her legs, and stepped in close.

“What are you doing?” she asked, her voice breathy.

“What we didn’t get to finish this afternoon,” I answered. “If you don’t want this, tell me now.”

“I want you Ronnie, more than anything, but I also don’t want to lead you on,” she said quietly, her expression conflicted. “I don’t want a relationship, not when I’m leaving in a few months.”

“I don’t want anything serious,” I replied, mostly telling the truth. “But I’d love to have tonight.”

“I can give you that,” she said readily.

The words were scarcely out of her mouth before my lips crashed down on hers in a hard, claiming kiss. I gripped both sides of her face, sliding my tongue against hers as I dominated her mouth.

When I pulled back, Alana looked a little dazed.

I dragged her jacket off her shoulders, then cupped her breasts over the fabric of her shirt as I kissed her again. Alana wrapped her legs around my hips, holding me close.

When I pushed her down on the table, she went readily. I pulled off one shoe, then the other, as she pushed up on her elbows and watched me. When my hands went to the waistband of her pants, I stopped to meet her eyes.

“Last chance.”

“For fuck’s sake, get on with it,” she said impatiently.

I made a sound that might have been a growl as I pulled her pants and underwear off in one long swoop, tossing them onto the ground behind me.

Then I dropped to my knees, dragged Alana’s ass to the edge of the table, lifted her legs over my shoulders, and began eating her out like my life depended on it.

She moved beneath me restlessly as I licked up her center, circled her clitoris with my tongue, then made my way back down again. Over and over again I reacquainted myself with the first pussy I’d seen up close and personal. The more I explored her folds, the wetter she became.

Alana rolled her hips against my face, her thighs tightening around my head, drowning out sound. I could tell by the way she was shuddering that she was getting close.

Spreading her lower lips wide, I licked up into her opening, spearing her with my tongue, thrusting in and out roughly.

One hand gripped her hip, trying to hold her in place, while I slid the other one upward until I found the swollen bud at her apex.

I pressed my thumb against it, sliding it back and forth, gradually adding pressure.

Alana was thrashing now, her cries loud enough I could hear them despite the fact that I was wearing her thighs as earmuffs.

I loved how responsive she was. It was like this when we were younger too – she succumbed to pleasure easily, throwing herself into coming, while I tended to take a little longer, needing a little coaxing to get out of my head.

I caught her clit between my thumb and forefinger, and when I gave it a firm pinch, she flew right over the edge. Her juices flooded my tongue, and I lapped up all that I could, loving the feeling of power I got from bringing this woman pleasure.

She came longer and harder than I expected, as if she’d been saving it all up for me.

Although maybe that was wishful thinking.

When her body finally stilled, she seemed to sag into the picnic table, like all her bones had liquified.

After gently lowering her legs, I crawled over her body and lowered myself on top of Alana to give her another long kiss.

I took particular pleasure knowing that she could taste herself in my mouth.

After I’d gotten my fill of kisses, I rolled off to one of the seats, and then to the ground. Alana was perfectly still, staring up at the lights I’d strung around the patio like she was in some kind of fugue state.

“You’d better get dressed before you get a chill,” I said, grabbing her hand to pull her back up to seated. “I’m going to check on the food.”

I returned to the grill, shifting things around and putting the burgers back on the main grill to finish them off. After a few minutes Alana walked up behind me, wrapping her arms around my waist. I leaned back against her, enjoying the feel of her at my back.

“That was incredible,” she said, her breath ticking my ear. “Maybe after dinner I can have you for dessert.”

My panties would have incinerated if they weren’t already so damp. I had a major case of the lady blue balls, but I’d promised to feed Alana, and we were going to do that next. Then I could have my fun.

Well, more fun anyway, because I’d enjoyed what we’d done so far.

I moved everything from the grill onto platters, and since it was a bit too chilly to eat outside, we moved into the house for dinner.

We kept our dinner conversation light, talking about the Fall Festival and Mrs. Grant’s breathless Facebook post about how she’d spied us kissing in front of the Patterson Farm sign.

After we finished eating, we both fell silent, the air between us becoming charged with anticipation. Without a word, we gathered our dishes, loaded them in the dishwasher, and put away the leftovers.

Alana wiped the counter, then turned to me with the damp sponge in her hand.

“Where’s your bedroom?”

Twelve years ago…

“Can I touch your boobs?”

I opened my eyes to stare at my best friend, now kind of girlfriend.

“You’re ruining the mood,” I said grumpily.

Alana and I had been kissing for hours, and my body was on fire. I’d never felt this way before, yet I wasn’t totally sure what to do with it. We’d shared our first kiss a month ago, but since then we’d stuck to making out.

“Consent is important,” she said primly.

I pushed up on my elbows to meet her eyes.

“You have my explicit permission to round the bases,” I said solemnly.

“Are the bases the same for lesbians as they are for heteros?” she mused, almost to herself.

“I guess so.”

I grabbed her shirt and pulled her on top of me as I sank back onto the floor.

“Now quit talking and feel me up.”

She paused. “Will you feel me up too? I’d kind of like you to if you don’t mind.”

I shrugged. “If you play your cards right.”
