“C hrist, that boy is fuckin' sharp,” Nick told me something I already knew. He'd sent us pictures of a coloring page. I'd recognize Dani's scribbles blindfolded.
And one of those pictures contained a map.
A map that had hand drawn additions.
“I agree. But I don't envy the day you tell your wife that you've been grooming him to join the family.”
Nick glared over at me. He didn't comment. But I could guarantee that he knew what I was talking about.
Eve Rosetti was not going to enjoy knowing Asher would one day join our ranks.
Of course, he needed to be put through his paces. We all did at that age.
Even so, he'd be a great addition.
The only question was whether Nick would survive after his wife found out.
That was years away, though.
He had time.
And I was one hundred and ten percent positive that Eve Rosetti would not leave her husband over this, anyway. She loved Nick.
“I'll send word to have the jet fueled and ready,” Nick said as he rose to his feet. He fixed his tie and gazed down at me. “Looks like we're going to Denver.”

YIKES!!
The boys are off to Denver??
Will they find Giselle? Even though she does NOT want to be found?
