Luna

I smile and stretch in my comfortable bed.

Sunlight streams through the window, and a light breeze stirs the curtains, making them billow like sails.

A crystal dangling from a thread in front of the glass catches the light, scattering it across the walls in flashing bursts—patterns that swoop and dance like birds in flight.

And I can’t help feeling… what? Déjà vu. Like I’ve seen this before. Weird.

Then I smell it—bacon. That’s weird, too, because the house I share in Portland is strictly vegan, no exceptions.

But there’s no mistaking that smell. Rich.

Savory. Mouthwatering. Honestly, the smell of frying bacon has to be one of the top three scents in the entire world, the other two being fresh-ground coffee and sunbaked earth after a heavy rainstorm.

Wait a minute…

My thoughts scatter, slippery as minnows. I’m sure I’ve smelled that before. I’m sure I’ve thought these exact thoughts about bacon, coffee, and rain-soaked earth. I was lying in bed, thinking the same thing… and then it’s gone again.

A dull throbbing pulse from the back of my head and in my left ankle. Strange. Why would they hurt? Did I sleep funny? Maybe I cramped up.

I yawn and stretch—then freeze. Something’s pressed against me. Warm. Solid. Not blankets. Too firm for that.

I push gently. It pushes back.

My gaze slides down the bed, and horror stops me cold.

A wolf. Not just a wolf—the biggest wolf in the history of wolves. Massive head, yellow eyes locked on me, unblinking, unreadable. Almost smug. Then it yawns, jaws stretching wide.

And everything clicks back into place.

"Southpaw!"

The beast wags his tail at the sound of his name, then casually goes back to licking his ass—or whatever part of himself he’s currently tackling.

I sigh. Of course.

No wonder I felt déjà vu. This has happened before. Twice now I’ve fallen in the forest, twice I’ve woken up rescued—and twice I’ve found myself in bed with this overgrown, patronizing wolf standing guard over me.

Judging by the memory of my foot slipping on a rock, he’s found me again. Which means, once again, I owe him thanks.

Southpaw pauses mid-wash and looks at me with a smug, satisfied expression.

"It winked," I mutter. "I swear to God, the self-satisfied, flea-ridden, hairy bastard just winked at me."

But the wolf just sighs contentedly, as if the joke’s on me, and goes back to his grooming.

There’s a knock at the door. Before I can even yell "Go away," Toby strolls in—swaggering, grinning, every inch of him trouble.

"Well, well, well… what do we have here?" he drawls.

"Fuck off."

He only laughs, sauntering toward the bed. He tries nudging Southpaw aside, but the wolf growls low, deep, and refuses to move an inch.

"Look at you, quite the animal whisperer," I smirk at his failed attempts to get Southpaw to budge even half an inch. "Ever thought about going on TV with that act? You’d make a fortune."

"Me? Oh no," he responds smoothly, his smile widening.

"You, on the other hand, Princess, seem to have dear Southpaw wrapped around your little finger.

How ever do you do it? I can see the headlines now.

" He raises his hands as if viewing a newspaper hoarding.

"Wolf saves woman from her own stupidity… twice in one week."

I glare. "Fuck you, Toby."

"Found you again last night, didn’t he? Sniffed you out. Mind you… Luke said they didn’t even need Southpaw—they could smell you halfway up the hill after your little hike."

He grins at his own joke.

"So it’s funny I fell and got hurt? That's the kind of man you are?"

Toby throws up his hands, mock-offended. "Cross my heart, swear to die—I’m honestly sorry you got banged up again. Truly."

My glare softens—just a little.

"But it’s still funny as fuck," he adds.

"What? You little—" I grab a pillow and hurl it at him, but he ducks, laughing. Southpaw’s ears flatten. With a long-suffering sigh, the wolf leaps off the bed and stalks out of the room, every inch of him radiating offended dignity.

"Oh, I say—you’ve come all untucked." Toby leans closer, voice low and suggestive. "Want me to tuck you back in?"

"What the actual?—"

"Or shall I just join you? Clearly, you’ve got way too much energy for an invalid. What you need, Luna, is a course of Doctor Toby’s very special treatment for over-excitable young ladies."

He strips off his shirt in one smooth motion, whirls it twice above his head, then flings it into the corner. With the same flourish, he kicks the door shut behind him—all while flashing that patented grin that could sell sin.

Despite myself, I giggle.

His grin widens. "Room for two?"

I nod slowly, lifting the sheets to reveal my bare skin. Vulnerability flickers with the heat rising in me. Only Toby seems able to stir both at once—the thrill of excitement and the ache of being exposed.

The bed creaks under his weight as he climbs in beside me. His grin is wicked, but there’s something else behind it too—something softer that makes my chest tighten.

I’m already wet for him, aching. All I can think of is how good he felt inside me up on that hill, just days ago. The memory alone makes me shiver.

He kisses me—gentle at first, then deeper, hungrier. His tongue teases my lips open, sliding against mine, heat building with every stroke. For all his cocky swagger, there’s safety in his kiss, like he wants more than just my body.

His hands roam—broad palms over my shoulders, down my back, gripping my thighs. Each stroke is deliberate, teasing and claiming at the same time, like he’s committing me to memory.

He trails kisses along my neck, nibbling at my earlobe, breathing into my ear until sparks race through me. My back arches. A moan slips out before I can stop it. In that moment, I don’t just feel wanted—I feel seen.

He moves lower, mouth closing around one breast, then the other.

His tongue flicks, circles, and sucks, drawing sharp gasps from me.

My nipples harden under his mouth, and I clutch at his hair, digging my fingers into his scalp, shoulders, anywhere I can hold on.

The pleasure is dizzying, yes—but there’s more.

A part of me clings because I don’t want to let him go.

Lower still. His lips leave a hot trail down my belly, his tongue swirling in my navel, making me shiver. His hands grip my thighs firmly, spreading me wide, opening me like a flower.

And then—finally—his mouth finds the very center of me.

His tongue slides between my folds, flicking across my clit, slow and deliberate, then faster, coaxing her up, awake, standing tall in the heat of his attention.

He flicks, he sucks, he rolls, he licks—and all the while I’m groaning and bucking my hips against him. The sensation is too sharp, too sweet. Too much, yet never enough. And through it all, there’s this flood of trust—trusting Toby to take me apart and put me back together again.

My hands lock in his hair, pressing him into me, holding him there, urging him on until release crashes through me. An urgent gasp bursts out of me—half moan, half cry—as my hips jerk rigid, then shudder again and again in waves of aftershocks.

I’m still catching my breath, trembling, when I feel his lips on mine again—soft, teasing.

“More?” I whisper, already hungry for him again. Not just for pleasure, but for the closeness that comes with it.

But instead of sliding over me, he pauses. Mischief dances in his eyes.

“Actually… wait.”

I blink. “Wait?”

His grin tilts sly. “I’m expecting a visitor.”

Confusion flares. “What the hell are you talking about?”

A knock at the door. Tentative.

My stomach flips. “Toby… what’s going on?”

“Come on in, bro!” he calls, completely at ease.

The door creaks open, and in steps Jack.

My jaw drops. “Jack… what the actual fuck?”

He looks like a deer caught in headlights. “Toby said you wanted to see me—something about needing the benefit of my years of experience.”

Toby sniggers, and both Jack and I glare at him until he shuts up.

“I… had no idea you were… uh…” Jack trails off, eyes darting from my naked body to Toby’s smug grin.

I yank the sheet halfway up, flustered. “Toby, what the hell are you doing?”

But Toby just lounges back, arms folded behind his head like he’s on a beach chair.

“Relax. You told me you fancied him, and I know for a fact he fancies you. He keeps mooning around with those big, soppy eyes?—”

“I do not!” Jack snaps, mortified.

“Oh, you so do,” Toby fires back, grinning. “It’s obvious you’ve got the hots for each other. A child could see it. But Brother Jack here? He’s way too polite for his own good. He’d wait until hell freezes before making a move.”

“Look,” Toby leans forward, his grin softer now, more serious. “He wants you. You want him. You’re both too stubborn—or too scared—to act. I’m just giving the world a little push.”

Jack’s face flushes crimson. “I swear, I had no idea…”

“Oh, he didn’t,” Toby cuts in breezily. “I just told him to swing by. Like he said, I told him you'd told me you needed the benefit of his years of considerable experience.” He chuckles again.

Then, quieter, he adds: “We’ve all got eyes. We’ve all got urges. We all like each other. Sometimes—just sometimes—things don’t have to be complicated.”

I glance at Jack. He’s still by the door, torn between bolting and… something else. And God help me, he’s just as gorgeous as his brother. Same raw power, but steadier somehow. Brooding. Solid. Temptation coils low in my belly.

Toby lifts a brow. “So let’s stop pretending. You into her, Jack?”

Jack’s eyes meet mine. His voice is rough, husky. “Yeah. I am.”

Toby looks at me. “And you? You into him?”

My pulse pounds as I nod. “Yeah.”

Toby shrugs. “So…?”

The room stills. The air hums. Then Jack moves—decisive, sure. He pulls off his shirt in one smooth motion, muscles rippling. His jeans follow, pooling on the floor.

I lift the sheet in invitation, my heart hammering with reckless excitement.

Jack climbs in beside me.

Toby grins. “There we go. Knew you had it in you.”

Jack’s hand trembles as it brushes my shoulder, but his kiss is firm, hungry, claiming. His fingers trace my waist, and I sigh into his mouth—just as Toby’s hand slides between my thighs again.

Heat floods me. They’re both on me—two very different men, two very different energies. Jack is steady, grounding, almost reverent. Toby is playful, bold, teasing me toward laughter even as he drives me wild. Together they touch me like I’m both precious and dangerous, soft and untamed.

I’m dizzy. Lost. But lit up inside like I never have been before.

We tangle together on the bed, laughter mixing with moans. I’ve never been with two men before, and now I wonder why I ever waited. They’re everywhere at once—hands, mouths, tongues—kissing, caressing, pushing me past every boundary I thought I had.

Soon, I find myself beneath them both. Toby astride my chest, his cock filling my mouth. Jack is kneeling between my thighs, his shaft driving deep into me with powerful strokes.

Pleasure builds fast, unstoppable. A tsunami wave is swelling inside me. I can’t fight it. I don’t want to.

Toby comes first, flooding my mouth with his taste. Jack follows with a roar, spilling inside me as I shatter between them—screaming, gripping, convulsing in my own blinding release.

When it’s over, we collapse together, tangled in sweat and tangled sheets. Hearts racing. Breathing ragged. Body humming with exhaustion and joy.

And lying between them, raw and wrecked and glowing, I feel something else too.

Not just passion. Not just lust. But a strange, unshakable sense that this—this—is only the beginning.
