Page 86 of Dual Destruction
I pressed the purlicue of my hand against his throat and tipped his head back, leaning down and dragging my teeth across the thin skin of his jaw. I wanted to bite him there, mark him that way. I wanted to turn every inch of his skin into a bruise so everyone would know he belonged to me and he wasn’t to be touched. That he wasn’t to be harmed. That he wasn’t to be so much asthought about.
Subconsciously, I understood Golden was an adult, his own man. I knew he had a job, had a life, and there were technicalities and ways we would have to mold and adapt things for us to be together, but much like thinking about Molinaro, that was for another day.
Now was for him and me.
For us.
I know I’d kept him on edge all day and that I’d already made him come twice, but I wanted more from him. I wanted it all.
“Golden, come back to me.” Peppering kisses up his jaw toward his ear, I bit down hard on his lobe.
His eyes flew open and his nails dug divots into my waist.
“I’m with you,” he said, gentle and soft.
Fuck, I loved him when he was like this. I loved him always.
“I know you’ve come twice today,” I whispered, “but I want you again. Can you get hard for me?”
“Can you make it hurt?”
I grinned, my own cock jerking at the promise of it.
“Do you really need to ask?”
Chapter Twenty-Seven
Foster
“Doesn’t this seem like a setup to you?” I asked, frowning at Sage as we walked to the back of the range.
It was two days after Valentine’s and supposedly the day that Molinaro had arranged to meet with whoever was trying to get us all killed, but the time delay had me feeling antsy.
“Of course.” Sage threw me an obvious look over his shoulder and stepped into his lane.
“Do you think we made the right decision to call Senior?” I asked.
On Sunday, or Monday morning, or Monday afternoon, whenever Sage had finished wringing every drop of cum out of me, we’d devised a plan. It was by no means a grand plan, but we had to focus on the immediate threat first, which was that greasy rat, Molinaro.
Sage had put in a call to Molinaro’s pops, not with the intent to frame up the kid, but to let him know there’d been a transfer of power in the Rosetti household. Needless to say, Junior had come up, and his dad didn’t sound too happy about what he heard.
“Business is business,” Sage said, adjusting the ring on his finger with a haphazard shrug.
I pulled my ear protection up and adjusted my glasses. I hadn’t been to the range since I’d come with Ronan, and remembering that had me feeling an entirely different way than when we’d walked in. It had been too long since I’d spoken with him and Rich, but I was deliberately trying to keep my distance, because the last thing I’d wanted was to pull them into any of this trouble.
Someone stepped into the lane on my other side and I glanced that way out of caution, barely surprised when I recognized Sharp’s profile.
“What are you doing here?” I pulled my ear protection back down around my neck.
Sharp didn’t look at me, instead set to arranging his shit in front of him and fidgeting with his glasses.
“I have a name for you,” he said, checking the magazine on his gun.
“I have a meeting.”
“Who are you talking to?” From my other side, Sage leaned back, his expression turning sour when he saw Sharp. “Oh. Him.”
“Good to see you alive and breathing, Rosetti,” Sharp greeted.
