“Yeah, that bitch was the worst kind of woke liberal,” Brandon grunts, his expression going angry for a moment.
“And what the woke left doesn’t realize is that they, too, are wearing straitjackets in their rigid definitions of the world.
They’re imposing their own value judgments on others without stopping to consider alternative viewpoints, and it’s such a fucking joke.
Just because you’re not a bleeding heart wokester doesn’t mean that you’re evil personified. People don’t work like that.”
We stop to ponder for a moment because Susan Carroll almost destroyed our lives, and the prospect had us worried for a while.
“But she’s gone now,” I say in a firm voice.
“We don’t have to freak out anymore, and your careers were never on the line because the NFL doesn’t give a shit about some middle-aged administrator barking up the wrong tree.
Plus, you’re going to do incredibly well in the draft,” I say with an encouraging smile, “and I can’t wait to see how things turn out. ”
The twins nod, appreciative of my unwavering support.
“Thank you for your support, sweetheart,” Brandon murmurs while taking my small hand in his big one. “But are you leaving something out? Something you haven’t told us?”
“Why no!” I say playfully. “Oh you must mean the gossip about my friend Kiki, right? That girl is crazy. She’s finishing her degree in veterinary science, but she’s going to take some time off by working on a ranch somewhere.
I don’t know, she says she’s not ready to commit to another couple years of school to get her DVM, so she wants to explore the Wild West and maybe meet some handsome cowboys. ”
“You mean she’ll meet a herd of cows,” my boyfriend says with an amused grin. “Because your friend will be working with livestock, seeing that that’s her specialty.”
I nod slowly.
“Yes, but I think she wants to meet cowboys too,” I say.
“Kiki’s been stressed over school for four years, and wants to relax and let go a bit.
I don’t blame her because school is hard, and she deserves to enjoy a gap year, if you will.
Plus, I think the ranch she’s going to is owned by a really gorgeous set of cowboys.
I don’t know what ‘s going to happen, but it is the Wild West,” I remark.
“She’s a sexy girl, and ... well, I’ve always heard that cowboys like to go bareback. ”
“Do they now?” Brandon drawls while raising one black brow.
“Hey, no judgment because bareback has served us well,” Brent interrupts, gently trailing his fingers on my thigh. “Again, is there something you haven’t told us, sweetheart? And it has nothing to do with Kiki.”
I giggle, knowing that the gig is up.
“Yes, because I’m pregnant,” I confess in a whisper. “I’m going to have your baby, Brandon and Brent! Are you ready to be daddies?”
With that, the two football players kiss me passionately while stroking their big hands over my swelling belly.
“We can’t wait,” Brent rasps in my ear. “You’re going to be an amazing mommy, Cindy.”
“Hopefully, we’ll have a little girl who looks just like her mother, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a winsome smile,” Brandon adds. “That would be ideal.”
I laugh with joy, love, and anticipation because being with Brandon and Brent is the answer to my dreams. I have two men who adore me, their mouths questing as their square palms caress my burgeoning belly.
The child we created together is a gift and blessing, and I’m so happy because I’ve always wanted to have a family, and now I get to do it with Brent and Brandon at my side.
“Just promise me one thing,” I whisper.
“What?” Brent murmurs.
“Anything,” Brandon vows. “You’ve made our day with your pregnancy, sweetheart. In fact, you’ve made our week, year, and whole lives, even.”
I laugh as my cheeks grow rosy.
“Just promise that you’ll never take Sigma Epsilon Chi up to the cabin again. Those days are over because you’ll never be with another woman again. It’s all me and your daughter from here on out. We’re the only females in your lives.”
“Of course,” Brandon mutters before sealing my lips with a kiss. “We wouldn’t dream of being with another woman.”
“In fact, I think we can do even better. My brother and I, personally, will never set foot in that cabin again,” Brent vows before tilting my head to claim his own kiss. “Sigma Epsilon Chi or no Sigma Epsilon Chi. You are our woman, Cindy, and we’ve left our mountain man days behind for good.”
Then, the lights dim in the arena as the draft begins, and I smile radiantly as our futures unfold.
A sense of well-being and gratitude washes over me in a wave because I’m in love with rich, powerful, gorgeous twins who are also pro athletes.
Not only that but our menage is accepted, and even welcomed, by their family because it turns out that menage is a “thing” for the Coleman men.
Who would have guessed? But with a baby on the way, my dreams have been answered, and I adore my handsome lovers with all of my heart.
