Page 98 of Doomed
I pocket my phone, but it buzzes again. And again.
“He’s whipped,” Xavier laughs. “Look at him squirming.”
“Fuck off,” I growl, but there’s no heat behind it.
“Never thought I’d see the day,” Vane shakes his head. “Knox Blackwood, tamed by a woman.”
I shrug, not even bothering to deny it. “She matches me. Insatiable. You have no idea.”
My phone vibrates with another message. This one’s a video of Bianca wrapped in blue silk ribbons on the bed.
“Meeting’s over,” I announce, already heading for the door. “Handle Orlov however you want.”
I need to get home. Now.

BIANCA
Itrail my fingers over the blue silk ribbons wrapped around me, savoring the cool sensation against my skin. The ribbons crisscross my torso, accentuating my curves and covering just enough to make the whole arrangement more tempting than total nudity.
A wicked smile plays on my lips as I position myself on Knox’s king-sized bed. His sheets smell like him—spice and danger and something uniquely Knox. I arrange the ribbons one final time, making sure they frame my breasts perfectly before reaching for my phone.
I capture several angles, each one more provocative than the last. Looking through them, I select the most enticing—me on all fours, looking over my shoulder with the ribbons creating delicate patterns across my back and between my legs.
Miss me yet?I type out along with the photo.
His response is immediate:Fuck, Bianca. I’m in a meeting.
I laugh, imagining him shifting uncomfortably in his chair, trying to hide his reaction from his brothers. The power I have over him is intoxicating.
Should I stop?I send another picture, this one showing me pulling at one of the ribbon ends as if unwrapping myself.
Don’t you fucking dare.
I bite my lip, enjoying this game more than I should. I snap a short video of me slowly untying one ribbon, letting it slither across my skin.
His response makes me shiver with anticipation:
I’m fucking coming home. Can’t concentrate when I’m this hard for you. Don’t move.
I glance at the clock. It’s barely been an hour since he left for his meeting. The thought that I could pull him away from Blackwood business makes me feel both powerful and slightly nervous. I know how seriously they take their empire.
I adjust a ribbon that’s digging into my thigh, wondering how long it will take him to?—
A loud crash echoes through the apartment, startling me so badly I nearly fall off the bed. It sounds like something heavy hitting the floor near the entrance.
“Knox?” I call out, my voice shaky.
There’s no response, just an eerie silence following the crash.
I freeze, clutching the ribbon against my chest. The silence stretches, broken only by the sound of heavy footsteps—too heavy to be Knox’s. A cold dread washes over me.
“Knox?” I call again, my voice barely above a whisper.
The bedroom door crashes open. Three men burst in—not Knox. The one in front is tall with icy blue eyes and a cruel smile. His expensive suit can’t hide the predator beneath.
“Well, well,” he says in a thick Russian accent. “Blackwood has excellent taste, I must say.”
