Page 100 of Distress Signal
I lifted enough to grip his length, giving him a few tugs that had him hissing through his teeth, eyes slamming shut in an attempt to marshal his self-control. Then I notched the tip at my entrance and sank down, taking all of him in one go.
I was still sore from our last go round, which had only been a few hours before. We’d awoken several times in the night, half-asleep but still reaching for each other, coming together without words. Letting our bodies do the talking. I adjusted to his size easily now, my head falling back in ecstasy.
“So fucking full,” I murmured, not yet moving.
Finn’s hands came to my thighs, sliding up to my hips, where he lifted me until only the blunt head of him remained inside me, then pulled me back down.
I rolled my pelvis, sighing happily when the coarse hair at the base of his cock rubbed perfectly against my clit. Knowing I could get off so easily, I undulated faster. Finn let me work, his hands coming up to cup my breasts, rolling the nipples between his fingers. The friction, the gentle tugs combined with the rough scrape of his skin, was perfect.
“I pictured this,” he murmured, eyes heavily-lidded. “When we went horseback riding. Watching you—fuck, I knew you’d look spectacular on top of me.” My hands found his, threading our fingers together and leaning forward until I pressed our clasped hands to the bed above his head, still undulating my hips. “Fuck, belle. That’s it. Take what you need.”
I’d wanted to go slow, his plans with West be damned, but instead, I moved faster, bouncing on top of him, Finn meeting every one of my down strokes with an upward thrust of his own.
As always—because he wouldn’t have it any other way—I came first, crying out his name and collapsing on top of him as I shook from head to toe. Finn fucked me through it, prolonging my orgasm until he found his own.
We were still coming down from the high when Finn’s phone buzzed on the nightstand. I crawled off him and threw myself down on the bed while he rolled over to answer it.
“Hey, West.” A pause. “Yes, I still want to go. Yeah, eight o’clock. I’ll be ready. I am up!” he shouted, right before hanging up, muttering about goddamn meddling twins.
Turning back toward me, he quickly placed a kiss on my shoulder then got out of bed, heading in the direction of the bathroom. I couldn’t resist checking out his ass, the sexy musculature of his back, the tattoos there he didn’t have the last time.
He smirked when he faced me again and caught me staring. I only grinned back, entirely unashamed.
“Why don’t you come with me?”
“To shower?”
“That too,” he said. “But I meant with me and West. You can even bring your camera.”
I wasn’t about to say no to spending time with Finn, regardless of what we’d be doing, but he knew he had me when he mentioned my camera. Though I’d taken a lot of great shots of the ranch yesterday on our ride, I’d never been given the opportunity to take aerial photos anywhere.
Plus, if it meant helping look for my sister?
“I’m in.”
West worea shit-eating grin when Finn and I stepped out of the house a half hour later, freshly showered and completely blissed out.
What we’d been up to was obvious, and West, knowing his twin as well as he did, didn’t miss a thing.
“You guys fucked.”
He didn’t phrase it as a question, and Finn didn’t treat it as such.
“Mind your own business.”
“You are my business, big brother,” he quipped, hooking Finn around the neck with his elbow and ruffling his hair. Though Finn tried hard to remain stoic, he was laughing by the time he managed to break free.
Being so happy was honestly a fucking crime, especially without Lainey.
But I knew Lainey would want this for me. Hell, she’d brought Finn up on numerous occasions over the years, begging me to look him up, to reconnect, to see if the spark was still there.
It would’ve been easy to find him. This town wasn’t that big, and he was a war hero. A simple Google search surely would’ve yielded more than one news article about his and West’s service.
But I hadn’t been ready. In fact, if Lainey hadn’t come out here and gone missing, Finn and I likely never would’ve seen each other again.
After losing my parents, I couldn’t risk losing anyone else. My night with Finn all those years ago had been so fucking special. Something only he and I shared, a moment in time I’d hold dear for the rest of my life, wherever I ended up, and whoever I endedup with. I hadn’t been willing to sully it with the possibility that he no longer existed.
War had a habit of taking people away from their loved ones, and I had been too afraid to learn if he’d been one of them.
