Diamond
Moving inside of Joelle was the perfect way to start his day.
She had a body that made a man go to war.
And a sexual appetite he was addicted to.
Her cries made the world drift away, focusing solely on his vibrant woman.
“Harder, River. Please .” Sweetly begging, she dug her nails into his forearm.
He gripped her thigh and brought it over the back of his, opening her up for a deeper slam as requested. His little savage needed his dick like he needed air, and he was here to provide.
“My Bluebell is taking it so good. Is the tightness hurting?”
“Yes.” She hissed in pleasure, “Don’t stop.”
The more time together that passed, the hungrier he became for her. He was at a feral level to pleasure her.
“Ohh, River, your dick is magic.” She whined, exploding his ego. Diamond chuckled into her neck. “Thank you, baby.”
“It’s sorcery, the things it makes me feel.”
He smirked into her neck. “I love it when I turn you dirty.”
“Will you do that thing I like?” she panted.
Diamond thrust and tweaked one of her nipples to make her howl with pleasure. “What thing?”
“Where you talk like a club-carrying Neanderthal.”
In the early sunrise, shadows cast around their bedroom, Diamond smirked, knowing what she wanted. He kissed the lobe of her ear and started pistoning his hips when her pussy became tighter around his cock. He loved taking her from behind. She was close. And he was about to throw her over the cliff edge.
“This pussy is all mine, Bluebell. It’s the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen and tasted. I like my tongue fucked so deep in this pussy until you drown me, don’t I? But nothing feels as good as it does right now. Being buried in you, baby, is a fucking paradise I don’t deserve.” He rolled his fingers over her clit and felt how much harder she clenched him.
His Joelle got off on his dirty talk.
Such a good, well-brought-up girl, liking it indecently.
She was exactly what he needed.
“You’re drenched and soaking the sheets.” He rolled his stomach against her soft ass. It wasn’t a hard fuck, not how they fucked like feral animals months ago. She was too delicate for that, but Diamond kept a steady rhythm, knowing how to move Joelle to get her there.
“Please make me come, River. I need it. I need you .”
Hearing her say that last part unhinged him.
When he felt her ready to detonate, he increased his speed on her clit, and his rhythm went deep to pound her g-spot. He nearly went blind with bliss as she came with a husky cry, and he followed right after, his veins burning up with flames.
“Such a greedy pussy my Bluebell has. You squeezed every drop out of me,” he grunted against the side of her neck. She let off a tinkling, pleased laugh, scraping her nails down his inner wrist.
“Well, if you push that big thing into me before I’m awake...”
“You were seducing me in your sleep.” He groaned. “Rubbing this sweet ass back on me. I had no choice. You needed my fuck, and I was happy to service.”
“How about a special back massage if we shower together?” she suggested, and his buried cock perked at the idea.
“Is that good girl speak for screwing you again?” He hoped.
Joelle laughed and elbowed him. “No, it means you soap me up and rub your very pregnant girlfriend’s lower back.”
“Are you aching?”
“All over.”
They hopped in the shower, and he massaged Joelle’s lower back, where she’d been sore for days.
Diamond was not ready for the liquid to splash on his feet while he was drying her with a towel.
They both looked at each other. Stunned .
Then she started laughing.
Panic came a few minutes later when they realized what was to come.
“River, you need to calm down,” she told him repeatedly in the following hours.
She looked like a serene goddess even though the labor pains had started.
“I’ll calm down when I have you strapped to a hospital bed.”
“They don’t strap me down.” She giggled, looking lovelier than ever. Her eyes were sparkling. Her skin was glowing.
And he was losing his shit.
He hadn’t prepared.
Why the fuck didn’t he put it together that being pregnant meant his woman had to go through labor, too?
Thank fuck she was the smart one in their relationship, because not ten hours later, Diamond was holding a slimy bundle in his arms while his son blistered the air with his tiny screams.
“If I ever complain about a headache again, remind me of what you did today, baby.” He said in awe. Leaning over the bed, he pressed his lips to Joelle’s warm forehead and then down to kiss her lips. “You are a fucking warrior.” He rasped. “I love you, Bluebell. I’m so goddamn in love with you.”
“I love you, too.” She said with tears leaking out the corners of her eyes. She was exhausted yet still beaming a smile.
Nothing would ever be the same again.
It was like all of Diamond’s organs rearranged themselves the moment his son was pushed into the world.
His Bluebell and his son. His entire world.
He was the luckiest biker on earth.
The rest of forever started now.
* * *
“You have to go,” Joelle said from the rocking chair in Abraham’s nursery. If it was possible to fall deeper in love and worship with his woman, he did each time he watched her nursing their son. Abraham’s greediness matched Diamond’s feelings for her. Wearing only a ratty pair of jeans, he trekked barefoot into the room and placed a glass of lemonade beside her. Then, he leaned down, and they met in the middle for a kiss. “Bash wants you there, Diamond.”
“I’m not going until you come with me.”
It wasn’t anything he hadn’t said in the last three weeks since they’d brought Abraham home from the hospital. They’d lived in a bubble. An idyllic bubble, and he was reluctant to leave them. Only when Joelle was sleeping did he ever slip out for work, but he soon got his ass back home.
Becoming a dad had tested his limits.
While it was the best thing he could have ever imagined, he was also the most tired a person had ever felt before. The kid was up at all hours, screaming and flailing his skinny arms and legs. He would only sleep when swaddled like a burrito and cradled in someone’s arms. Clever little shit always sensed when they attempted to put him down.
He didn’t want to go to a club party tonight and leave Joelle to look after him alone.
“I already told you that once he settles down, I’ll happily meet everyone at the clubhouse.”
“You better, or I’m throwing you over my shoulder, woman.” He made it sound like a warning, but she only smiled. Even his threats didn’t work. He was so in love with this woman. It was driving him mad.
“Please go. We’re fine, I promise.”
Bash had met the love of his life a year ago, a nurse at the hospital. He’d pursued her like a missile, and finally, she’d fallen for him only recently. Tonight, Bash was giving her his Property Of patch and wanted the brotherhood in attendance. Knowing it was important, Diamond hesitated to leave her, even for an hour.
She finally got him out of the house. But he wasn’t happy about it.
He loved the MC and would always be a Diablo, but the need to be home with his family was greater.
Once there, Diamond toasted the happy couple and talked to a few of his brothers after texting to check on Joelle.
She hadn’t answered, but that wasn’t unusual, not when she liked to cat nap while Abraham slept his average of twenty minutes.
He was antsy and couldn’t stop the gut feeling that something was wrong.
Diamond was addicted. That was true.
He only felt peace these days when he was close to Joelle.
Although he was happy for Bash and his brothers finding their old ladies, he felt a weight in his gut knowing that hardly anyone knew he had found one, too. As Bash fell in love in the open, Diamond’s relationship was being kept under wraps.
Charlotte sat with Bash, proudly wearing her Property Of Bash cut.
He knew he wanted to have his property patch on Joelle’s back.
He’d solidify that decision when he went home.
When was too soon to leave a party?
Deciding to give it another twenty minutes, the name Snow on the TV caught his attention. Expecting another ego-bloating feature on the Judge, his heart nearly flatlined seeing amateur footage of his woman being arrested!
“What the fuck?” he spat out.
Was he so sleep-drunk that he was seeing shit?
It had to be a dead ringer for Joelle or some gag piece because she was at home with Abraham. She would’ve let him know if she had plans to go out.
His girl was not a troublemaker. Why the fuck was some bozo cop putting cuffs on her and manhandling her into the squad car?
A cold rush went through his blood. Abraham! Where the fuck was his son?
Immediately, he reached for his phone, but she didn’t pick up.
They kept mentioning her connection to Judge Snow. Diamond felt like he’d been shot. A bystander recorded it and sent it to the news station.
His fists clenched, his jaw felt like it was ready to crack.
Diamond knew Joelle inside and out. She was the least trouble-causing person there was, and she hated conflict.
Every moment with her was etched in his memory, and what he was looking at was his scared, frantic woman.
He shot forward in the chair. Fire coursed through his veins. His brain was about to explode, with many unanswered questions piling up.
This shit was not happening.
His girl was not a troublemaker, not by a longshot.
Either they got the wrong person, or the fucking cops were just flexing their muscles.
“Fucking hell, Joelle. What have you done?”
Not for a second did he think she had broken the law. Diamond would gladly clean up after her if his good girl enjoyed causing chaos. Crimes didn’t faze him at all. Her sudden departure left him perplexed.
The worry clawed his throat raw; all he could think about was getting to her and Abraham.
Everyone was staring at him, but he didn’t give a damn about explaining.
As the news bulletin finished, he rushed to his feet, grabbing the leather jacket. He was already marching off as he swung into it. “Where the fuck is my son, Joelle?”
He’d snap necks if anyone had put their hands on his child.
He all but steam-rolled Axel down in the entryway.
“Whoa. What’s the rush, Diamond?”
“Joelle was on the news, getting fucking arrested . I don’t know who the fuck has my son!”
“ Shit . Let’s go.” Axel whistled to Chains across the forecourt and pointed to the bikes. He was already calling their new lawyer to meet them at the sheriff’s department.
Diamond was breaking all the speed limits to get there in no time. Chains and Axel stuck with him the whole time.
As a trio, they stalked into the cop department. Their informant, Officer Sofia Fielding, was in the entryway, having been warned they were coming.
She pierced them with a stare, her voice hushed. “Do not start any shit here. She’s fine. Your lawyer is already with her.”
“She’s fucking fine?” he gritted through his teeth. He could murder every person in the building and not give a shit. “What the fuck is she even doing here, Fielding?”
Maybe later, he could also thank Axel for contacting her, but he had no composure. Not when he was frayed at the edges and holding onto his sanity.
“Keep it together, D.” Chains said, touching his shoulder. “What can you tell us, Fielding?”
“She hit a cop.”
“ Bullshit .” Diamond spat.
“She was in an altercation with an unknown civilian, and when the officers turned up, she swung at him. That’s all I currently know.”
He was not buying that crap. If they were trying to pin a trumped-up charge on her because of her surname, he’d shoot the fucking lot of them.
“I wanna see her now! And who the fuck has my son?”
Diamond was seething from the inside out.
Holding on to what little saneness he had left.
He wanted to take the building apart brick by brick until he got his eyes on Joelle.
Axel and Chains were there as his calm wall, doing the talking when his rage became too big.
It felt like endless hours he waited until a door opened, and a guy in a cashmere sweater and pressed pants, carrying a briefcase, ushered Joelle out in front of him.
Diamond stopped pacing, and the moment she saw him, it was like she sprouted wings to get to him, throwing herself into his chest, weeping.
“Where’s Abraham, Joelle?”
“Mom has him,” she cried, clinging to him as tightly as Diamond held her.
He finally felt the relief a man on death row would feel when granted a reprieve.
Behind him, he caught the lawyer explaining to Axel that there would be no charges, but all Diamond concentrated on was the love of his existence, sobbing in his arms.
“I got you, Bluebell.” He reassured her and himself.
Joelle fit against him like she’d been designed solely for him.
He was still feeling untamed and feral, but as her arms banded around his waist, her warmth coated his soul.
“Can we get out of here? I need out of this place, Diamond.”
Once outside, he saw his truck. A prospect had dropped it off thanks to Axel’s instructions.
“There were only the formalities to go through once I arrived,” the club lawyer explained. “Judge Snow had already called the chief of police.”
“We need to get that video taken down from every outlet,” Diamond told him gravely, and Joelle gasped. “There’s footage?”
“Already working on it, brother.” Chains said. And the lawyer chimed in with the same. He would use his legal language to have it removed from news websites.
Cupping her face, he brushed away the streaks of tears with his thumbs. “Tell me what happened. You didn’t let me know you were going out.”
She hiccupped. He could only imagine how frightened she’d been. “Mom wanted to see Abraham. You know how she gets. It was easier to go to her, and I wanted some fresh air, anyway. I didn’t even get inside their townhouse when Trent came bounding out of his car.”
“Trent?” Diamond hissed, feeling the return of his rage. “This is because of that cocksucking Trent?”
“It was him, Diamond. All those weird texts, for all these months, it’s been him sending them.” She paused with a stuttering inhale. “I was blindsided. He called me pretty. The texts always called me pretty. He was stoned and just wouldn’t stop going on about how we were supposed to be together and how I messed it all up by having a kid with someone else. He was unhinged, Diamond. I didn’t know what to do.”
“None of this is your fault, baby.” He put his lips to her temple. Diamond locked eyes with Axel and mouthed. “Find him.” The prez nodded, and he and Chains quickly climbed on their bikes and shot off.
“He wouldn’t stop pulling my arm. All I wanted was to go inside with Abraham.”
“Did that motherfucker get arrested and put in cuffs, too?” he snarled at the lawyer.
“No, he fled the scene, but I’m informed an arrest warrant has been issued for harassment and attempted kidnapping. We will press charges.”
Diamond would break his fucking neck when he caught up with him.
“I’ve never seen him like that before, Diamond.” She whimpered against his chest. “But I had to do something when he tried to pull at the baby carrier. Someone must have seen me hit him and called the police. I didn’t mean to hit the officer. It was all just a blur; he must have come up behind me as I tried to reach the townhouse steps, and I thought it was Trent following me.”
“Baby, none of this shit is your fault.” Then he turned to the lawyer. “None of this bullshit sticks to her, got it?”
“It won’t. Joelle was a mother under duress and was fearful for her safety. I’ll be pursuing a reprimand for the over-zealous arresting officer who ignored her distress and the obvious attempt to kidnap her and the child.”
With one arm around Joelle, he shook the guy’s hand. “Thanks for getting here so quickly. Sorry, we’re meeting like this. I’m Diamond.”
The lawyer grinned and flashed two dimples. “Good to meet you, Diamond. I’m James. I’m sure we’ll talk again. Try to have a better night, Miss Snow.” He sauntered off to his Beemer.
Diamond helped Joelle into the truck, buckled her up, and hopped into the driver’s seat. He immediately reached for her thigh.
“Why does your mom have Abraham?”
“She must have heard the disturbance. I screamed for her to take him before they could drag me away. It all happened so fast. She called my father. I guess it’s fortunate to have contacts like the chief of police.” She sighed, looking so pale. “I was scared. I can’t believe Trent would act that way. He wanted to separate me from Abraham; I don’t think he cared how he did it.”
Diamond had countless evil thoughts about his actions when he found him.
But his priority was getting Joelle to Abraham. Her relief became a shallow cry when her mom met them at the door, holding him.
While Joelle fussed over Abraham, and her mother fussed over her, Diamond stood centurion in the hallway, seething underneath his skin, waiting for the second he could go hunting.
The Judge arrived home with Reeves in tow as they were about to leave.
Diamond didn’t know who appeared more shocked by the affection when Snow hugged Joelle. But he got it. They were all fucked up because of Joelle’s arrest. Even Reeves toned down his usual teasing and was nice to her.
Diamond’s nerve endings were still buzzing with rage.
Snow was all worked up, holding a scotch and discussing throwing the book at Trent. Diamond didn’t bother chiming in because he had a more direct approach to doling out the punishment.
It would be swift.
And harsh.
And he’d make that motherfucker suffer for every second he’d terrorized Diamond’s woman.
