Declan walked her backward until her back came up against the wall as he moved his hands all over her.

He moved his tongue into her mouth, then groaned when she sucked on it.

He thrust his fingers into her hair, holding her head while he devoured her mouth.

She moaned into him, her fingers tangled in his hair, pulling hard enough to make him groan.

He easily lifted her and her thighs clamped around his hips, grinding

against his rock-hard cock straining in his jeans. Fuck, he was throbbing already, begging for release.

He slipped his hands under her ass, carried her to the sofa, sat down with her on his lap, and he knew she could feel the full force of his erection pressing against her.

“Take me to bed,” she breathed, her voice husky and raw with need. “Now.”

Declan kept his hands on her ass, lifting her like she weighed nothing, and carried her down the hall to her bedroom. His cock was straining against his zipper, desperate to be free.

He entered the room, kicking the door closed, walked toward the bed and set her on her feet.

She stared at him, and he could see the desire in her eyes.

He leaned down to kiss her lips, as he reached behind her and pulled that zipper down and the dress fell to her feet.

Declan stepped back. She stood before him in only a red lace bra and matching red panties.

He moved his hand to the front clasp of her bra and unhooked it; her nipples were hard and begging for his mouth. He stared at her.

“God, you are so beautiful,” he said, then leaned down and sucked one nipple into his mouth, teasing until she whimpered. She gasped when he ripped her panties off.

“I just bought those,” she teased.

“I’ll buy you another pair.” He picked her up, placed her on the bed, and gazed at her as she lay there, then he put one knee on the bed. “Those shoes are staying on.”

Elise sat up, her hands fumbled with his belt, tugging it loose, and then she pushed his jeans down, freeing his cock.

It sprang out, thick and throbbing with lust. She tried unbuttoning his shirt, but her fingers wouldn’t cooperate, so she ripped the shirt open, sending buttons flying, then slid her hands down his chest to his cock, wrapped her hand around it, stroking him slowly, as she kissed his chest, making him curse under his breath.

“Fuck, Elise,” he growled as he removed a condom from his wallet, “you’re gonna make me embarrass myself before I even get inside you.”

She took the condom from him and rolled it down his hard shaft, then lay back on the bed.

When she spread her legs for him, he closed his eyes, then crawled between her legs.

She wrapped her hand around him and guided him inside.

She was slick and wet, ready for him. He pushed inside her, inch by agonizing inch, until he was buried as far as he could go.

She threw her head back, crying out as he filled her completely.

“God, yes,” she moaned, “Declan.”

“Wrap your legs around me,” he whispered in her ear, then groaned when she did.

He slid in and out of her in a slow, agonizing rhythm that had them both, moaning and groaning.

When her fingernails dug into his ass, he knew she wanted it harder and faster, but he wanted to take his time with her.

That didn’t last long because when she pulled him tighter to her with her legs, he lost it and slammed into her, fucking her with a rhythm so primal it felt like the bed might break.

Her nails dug into his back, leaving red welts as she clung to him.

She was so tight, gripping his cock like a damn vice.

He knew she was close, her moans getting louder, her legs trembling around his waist.

“Don’t stop,” she begged, “please, don’t stop!”

He reached between them, his thumb touching her clitoris, making her scream as she came, clenching around him. He groaned and tumbled over the edge with her, his cock pulsing inside her.

They collapsed together, sweaty and spent, panting like they’d just run a marathon. Declan pressed a kiss to her forehead, his hands still roaming her body, already craving her again.

Elise grinned at him, her eyes dark with hunger. “I want to do that again,” she whispered, making Declan chuckle.

“Sure but give me a few minutes.”

“How about a shower? Maybe that will get your strength back up.”

He raised his eyebrow. “It’s not my strength you want back up,” he teased, making her laugh.

Elise got out of bed, put her hand out to him, and smiled.

“Come on, cowboy.”

Declan huffed, took her hand, but instead of getting up, he pulled her back on top of him.

“If I didn’t need a little rest right now, I’d get… up for you again.”

Elise laughed, then kissed his lips. She raised her eyes to look into his.

“Declan, you are such an amazing man. It would be so easy to fall for you.”

He slid his fingers into her hair and kissed her again.

“I’m more than halfway there with you,” he said with his lips just hovering over hers.

“It’s not too soon, is it?”

“Is there a timeline you have to follow to fall in love?”

She shook her head. “No, I don’t think there is.”

Rolling off him, then out of bed again, she walked toward the bedroom door, opened it, looked over her shoulder at him and grinned.

“I’ll be in the shower if you care to join me,” she said, then walked from the room.

“Man, you are falling hard for this woman. Do not fuck it up,” he muttered as he rolled out of bed and followed her to the bathroom.

Monday morning, Elise walked down the stairs to the studio, opened the door, and stepped into the hallway, then made her way to the front to see Erica settling in.

“Good morning, Erica. How was your weekend?”

“It was great. I didn’t do anything.”

“That’s a good way to spend it, isn’t it?”

“Yes. Did you have a good weekend?”

Elise grinned. “I had a fantastic weekend.”

Erica smiled. “That’s great,” she said as she picked up the ringing phone.

Elise smiled. “Oh, it was great alright,” she said under her breath as she made her way to her office to stow her purse, and then she’d get to work with one of the classes.

She entered a room filled with little ballerinas and it just thrilled her to see them eager to learn. She hoped some of them would continue with it and one day dance on a stage. That had been her dream since she was four years old. It was a long process, but well worth it, she believed.

As she watched one of the little girls twirling around on her own, Elise couldn’t help but chuckle.

This was why they had to be watched. Brandy told her that she panicked when one of the four-year-olds disappeared.

She was found in the class for older students, trying to copy their steps.

Brandy said she had to laugh when the little girl tried to copy them on their toes, and when she couldn’t she just sat down and watched.

“When school is out, are you going to adjust the schedules?” Brandy asked.

Elise glanced at her, then back to the children. “Yes, for sure.”

“Good. It will be nice not to have so many gaps in classes.” Brandy looked at her. “I love working here, Elise. It’s so much fun and you’re an amazing boss.”

Elise slipped her arm around Brandy. “I’m glad you work here too. You do an amazing job with the girls. They love you.”

“I love them. How cute are they?” Brandy laughed.

“Adorable for sure.”

“So, how’s things with you and Declan?”

Elise sighed, making Brandy laugh. “He’s an amazing man.”

“He seems like he is. Much better than Stephen was.”

“You didn’t care for him, did you?”

Brandy shook her head. “He just gave me the heebie-jeebies.”

“Well, your instincts were right. Declan told me he was arrested for vehicular homicide while driving drunk but got probation for two years because of his daughter and it being his first offense.” Elise shook her head. “Declan said he should be in prison for it.”

“Yes, he should. He only got a two-year probation?”

“Yes. Declan wasn’t happy about that at all.”

“He deserved more. Do you know who he killed?”

Elise looked at her. “His wife.”

Brandy gasped. “Oh, my God! I didn’t know that. Of course, I just moved here a year ago.” She shrugged.

“I never would have known if Declan hadn’t told me. I asked Stephen how his wife died and all he said was in a car accident. He never mentioned he was the cause of it.”

“Johnston knew if he told you the truth, you’d stop seeing him. Of course, you did anyway.”

“We saw him at The Hartland Saturday night. He tried to intimidate me. Declan got up to use the bathroom, which he didn’t really, but Stephen came to the table to talk to me—”

“Wait. Wait. What do you mean he didn’t really use the bathroom?” Brandy frowned.

Elise laughed. “Declan told me he needed to use the restroom, but I think he actually just got up to see if Stephen would make a move. When he did, Declan came back to the table. No matter what Stephen says, he is afraid of Declan.”

“He sounds like a cocky somebody. Someone who acts all big but backs down when someone stands up to him.”

“That’s exactly how he is. I felt sorry for the woman who was with him. I knew he was drinking. Declan said he hopes he catches him driving drunk.”

“He doesn’t like him at all, does he?”

“Stephen’s wife was a good friend of Declan’s. They dated for a while and that’s why Stephen hates him, even though nothing happened after she married Stephen. Declan even went to their wedding.” Elise shook her head. “Stephen has a problem.”

“Yes, and it could get worse since you’re now dating Declan after you went out with Stephen.”

“I hope not, but you could be right. He said I dropped him so I could go out with Declan. I didn’t. I had already stopped seeing him when Declan asked me out.”

“Elise, you need to be careful. I don’t like the sound of any of this.”

“I know. He scares me.”

“Declan can’t be around you twenty-four seven.”

Elise smirked. “It would be nice if he could.”

“Oh, you have it bad,” Brandy said with a giggle.
