Thank you, Mann.He reached out and grabbed her hand to tug her close. She sunk onto the couch and tucked her legs up under her, snuggling into him as he put an arm around her. Together, they watched Boomer grab the third and last toy, a knotted rope, and offer it to Ladybug. She accepted one end and they began a tug-of-war.

Boomer was gentle, as if understanding that Ladybug needed him to be, and for the first time in a long while, Malachi relaxed. Not only had he landed the love of his life, but he now had two dogs to make things even better. “All the chairs in my house?”

“What about them?”

He squeezed her shoulder. “They’re all yours. Every one of them.”

Mia pressed a hand to his chest where his heart was. “I love you, Malachi Cahill.”

He placed his own over hers and brought her fingers to his lips. “I love you, Mia Livingston, and I’m never going to let you go.”

As the dogs played, she turned his face so she could kiss him, keeping her gaze locked on his. As he stared into her beautiful green eyes, he knew he was lost. A goner. There would never be anyone else for him.

Joe and Caleb had found their happily-ever-afters, yet Malachi hadn’t believed he ever would. Right here, right now, he knew that wasn’t the case. Dreams did come true.

The future looked bright, and he couldn’t wait to share it with the woman in his arms.
