Page 26 of Dark Thirst (The Scandalous Novellas)
“ W e’re gonna be late!” I call out to Michelle who’s still in the bathroom getting ready.
“I’m coming! Almost done.” When she walks out, she looks absolutely radiant.
It’s finally graduation day, and she’s wearing a cute little red dress that hugs all of her curves, fishnet stockings, and black combat boots.
My little princess looks stunning. She gives a little twirl to show off, and my cock responds before a smile stretches across my face.
We came back to the motel we went to the night after our romp in the woods to stay the evening before graduation.
Michelle and her roommate already cleared out their dorm room earlier in the week, and we brought all of her stuff back to my apartment.
Her parents should be driving in today to watch her walk across the stage and receive her diploma.
They still don’t know about us, Michelle has just mentioned that I’m here to help her move, and we don’t plan on telling them anything until after graduation.
My apartment is a mess with Michelle’s stuff and mine being packed away at the moment.
We’re going to head back after today, finish packing, and drive down to the Gulf Coast.
I decided I wanted to show her where I grew up and the place that I miss so much, and she agreed. We rented a place there through the summer, then we’ll decide where to go next. Maybe the west coast. I’ll go anywhere as long as it’s with her.
Grabbing her cap and gown, we rush to the Mustang and hop in.
Luckily, campus is close by and we get there in less than ten minutes.
Parking is a mess, so I drop her off at the auditorium before I look for parking.
There’s a spot in another lot nearby, and I notice my aunt and uncle walking towards the auditorium just as I am.
They look over, notice me, and wave. Fuck, this afternoon is going to be awkward.
The auditorium is already full. But we all find some seats towards the back, sit down, and wait for everything to begin.
My chest swells with pride for Michelle.
She’s accomplished so much, and I can’t wait to begin our lives together.
In these last few weeks, we’ve decided that no matter what happens, we will always be together.
She’s just as obsessed with me as I am with her.
We are a match made in heaven, and no one can tear us apart.
After our trip to Anna’s house that night, Michelle has been diligently watching our little pet.
This morning she informed me that Anna is breaking her lease early and moving out.
I wonder where she’s going… Nah, scratch that.
It doesn’t matter because we will always be watching.
No matter where in the world we are, we will always have an eye on her.
The lights dim slightly, and the graduates walk in to take their seats in the front. I can’t wait for this to be over so I can hold my princess in my arms again.
Since Michelle’s last name is Quinonez, she’s called out towards the end. Her parents and I cheer for her as she walks across the stage to receive her diploma, and the rest of the presentation flies by. We all had plans to go out to eat afterwards, but I have a different idea.
As the auditorium clears out, I hang back, allowing my aunt and uncle to greet and congratulate her first. I watch as they hug and hold her, but her eyes are searching for mine.
When she spots me towards the stairwell, she lights up and walks up towards me, wrapping her arms around my neck and kissing me, right in front of her parents.
“What was that for?” I say against her lips.
“For being here. And for being mine. It’s time they found out, and I don’t care what they think.
” She has a devious smile on her face, and I love it.
I look behind her to find the horrified faces of my aunt and uncle staring at us.
I didn’t know how she planned to tell them, but any approach would have caused a mess.
“Wait here,” she says, and walks back to her parents.
She’s confident, unafraid, and unashamed.
I told my father about us a week ago and asked him to keep it quiet.
He was worried about what the rest of the family would think, but understood how I felt.
I just hope her parents can be as understanding. After all, we’re not blood related.
I watch as she talks to them. Her mother keeps shaking her head, and her father looks between her and me with an expression I can’t quite make out.
This is between them, and I’ll let her handle it.
My uncle shrugs his shoulders and gives his daughter a big hug, and my aunt looks like she might cry.
She’s always the dramatic one. They both take one last look at me and walk out of the building together.
Michelle proudly struts towards me, grabs my hand, and leads me out. “Where did you park?”
“In the next lot over,” I say.
“Ok, let’s go.” She pulls my arm again towards the parking lot.
“Is everything ok?” I ask.
“Yes, they’ll be fine. I promise. They’re going home, so we are free to do whatever we want.” Her green eyes sparkle and give me a devious look.
I smile, “Well good. I have a surprise for you. But we’ll have to go back to Chicago for it, and if we leave now, we’ll make it in time.”
Michelle kept asking me where we were going the whole way back to Chicago, but I wouldn’t give in.
I’ve been thinking about this for a while now, and I know she’ll love it.
When we arrive, I park in the back of the building so she doesn’t see where we are.
I asked an old friend of mine to do me a favor by allowing us to come by and close the shop for the evening.
I open the passenger door and take Michelle by the hand, leading her to the back door that leads to the shop.
There are no distinct signs of where we are, so she eyes me suspiciously.
As soon as we enter the hallway, the distinct smell of ink and alcohol fills my nose.
Michelle squeezes my hand, and I look down into her beautiful eyes and smile.
She laughs as she realizes that we’re entering a tattoo shop.
“Sean! What’s up, man?” Eric beams from behind the counter. He’s been my tattoo artist for the last five years and he’s done every piece I have on my body. I walk over and give him a big hug. Turning around, I introduce him to Michelle.
“Alright,” he clasps his hands together, “are we ready to get inked?”
“Yeah, I’m ready.” I look over at Michelle. “Are you?” She nods with confidence and trust. She’s mentioned wanting to get a tattoo but has never bit the bullet.
The piece I designed for myself is special; a pinup-style girl in a short dress and fishnets, on her knees, wearing an Anubis mask. It’s my princess, forever inked onto my skin. It will always remind me of the first night we shared and let our true feelings show.
Eric helped me create hers, and I hope she will love it.
Since she’s a programmer, I thought of a more simplistic design she can wear on her forearm.
He drew up a computer circuit board that’s unique and delicate, just like she is.
“I’ll go first,” I tell Eric, and he nods, going over to a chair and setting up his station.
A couple of hours later, my little inked goddess sits on my thigh. “Oh my God, I love it!” she says excitedly. “It’s you, mi princesita. I’ll forever have you with me,” I say while I bring her in for a kiss. “I love you.”
“Te amo,” she says, and kisses me back.
“Ready for yours?” I whisper to her.
“Mhm!” She hops onto the chair while Eric gets himself ready for her.
She’s so excited she can’t sit still. “I helped design it, and I hope you like it as much as I do,” I say as Eric is putting the stencil on her skin.
She finally looks over at it and her mouth drops.
“Is that a circuit board?” she breathes.
I nod my head. “Yeah, pretty cool, huh?” Eric says.
“It’s perfect,” she whispers as she looks at me with tear-filled eyes. The buzz of the needle fills the room as Eric works on Michelle and I sigh. For the first time in my life, I have everything I could ever want, and more.
There’s no need for either of us to wear masks. We’re free to be who we are together, forever.
