“It’s K. Just K. We’ve talked about that,” she seethed.
“Yes, of course, my apologies. So, we’re ready for another change?” said the doctor.
“You know the drill. Just change everything. I don’t care how, but do me a favor and remove these implants. They’re annoying as fuck, and I can’t hardly move.”
“Yes, ma’am. Anything else?” he said in a shaky voice. The last thing he wanted was to displease this woman. The previous time one of his staff inadvertently dyed her hair red instead of blonde, K shot her in the head.
“I prefer no pain, so keep me under until you’re certain I will not be uncomfortable.”
“Of course, just relax,” he said, placing the anesthesia mask over her face. “When you wake, you’ll be a new person.”
