“I’m stuck and Ihave to use the bathroom.” Wade’s sleepy demand and wiggles had me sighing androlling over.
That wasn’t a good idea. “Me too.”
Damned alcohol.
Damned Austin.
Damned elephant.
I wasn’t going to be a pleasant person ifit didn’t get off my head. “Why do we drink so much?”
“To provide me with endless entertainment, obviously.”
Tristan was a dick—but he was my dick.
Wait. That didn’t make sense.
“Don’t make me complain in my head. It’shard.” I wasn’t sure why that made Tristan laugh, but I decided I didn’t care.
Forcing one eye open as Wade scrambled offthe bed, I sat up and groaned as the elephant started to dance. “I hateAustin.”
“I think you might still be drunk.” He wastoo damned cheerful.
Frowning at him, I sighed. “You’re mean.”
He nearly giggled. “But you’re fascinatingwhen you’re drunk. And I wasn’t even upset when I had to come rescue you fromthe toilet. I think that makes me the best boyfriend ever.”
Boyfriend?
My face must have asked that questionbecause his grin got wider. “Wade filled me in on that one. But calling me anddemanding I come over and rescue you after you fell off the toilet was a cluetoo.”
Good grief.
“I refuse to believe that.” Rolling over, Iforced my feet toward the direction I was fairly sure was the floor and thensmiled as I got it right. Standing up, I put one foot in front of the other andactually made it to the doorway.
Tristan was still wearing that annoyingshit-eating grin. “If you’re nice to me, I’ll tell you that I made coffee foryou guys.”
Okay, maybe I did love him.
“I’m always nice.” The spank he gave my assas I walked by showed that while my brain wasn’t working, my dick was. All Iwanted to do was moan and beg for another, but then my bladder poked me again.“Hold that thought.”
I was slightly more human when I finallymade it out of the bathroom. I expected to find Wade drinking the coffeeTristan had bribed me with, but he was hiding in the doorway of his bedroom.“Why did you take so long?”
I was not answering that question.
Whispering back, I glanced down toward theliving room. “What are you doing?”
“Hiding.” Wade said that like it shouldhave been obvious.
“Why?” I hadn’t been in the bathroom longenough for there to have been a disaster.
“Because I woke up cuddled next to you andI don’t know what Tristan will say.” His expression said I was an idiot.
“Since I have a vague memory of being toldto go back to sleep while he cuddled you, I’m pretty sure he’s not going to bemad.” Yawning, I grabbed his arm and started dragging him toward the livingroom. “He already said we could sleep together. I just couldn’t have sex unlessI asked first. So if he gets pissed that we just slept, he’s an ass.”
Chuckles came from the kitchen. “I madecoffee and biscuits. I can’t be an ass.”
Food.
