Page 43 of Cuffed By Your Love
I shook my head, mouth open, losing all logical thought.
“Good.” He grunted. “Let me be your first and only trauma exorcist.”
I reached back, gripping his wrist.
“If you don’t slow down, I’ma lose my damn job tomorrow.”
He laughed low and dark. “You gon’ be moaning through your morning roll call. Tell your inmates daddy wore you out.” Smack. “That’s for texting back late.” Thrust. “That’s for acting like you ain’t wanna see me.” Grip. “And that right there?” He buried himself to the hilt. “That’s for letting Kam breathe near your sexy ass.”
“Elias.”
“Nah. Don’t say my name unless you singing it.” He continued to thrust inside me from the soul. Deep. Vicious. Filthy.
“Elias, daddy. Oh shit, please…”
“That’s more like it.” His mouth pressed to my ear, voice raw and ragged from the rhythm of his thrusts. He whispered the nastiest affirmations, filthy and reverent in the same breath.
“This mine now… ain’t nobody touching you like this but me.”
“You safe, baby. You safe with me.”
“You hear me? You belong to me.”
Each word slammed into me harder than his strokes, branding me from the inside out. My body bowed beneath him, pleasure clawing through me, every nerve lit like fireworks. I clung to him, nails digging into his shoulders as the heat broke open inside me.
We came together, bodies breaking and building at once, the crash of waves against rock and the rebuilding of the shoreline in the same violent breath. My legs shook so bad I thought they’d give out. My chest hiccupped with ragged breaths, and tears spilled before I even knew I was crying. It was too much and not enough, a funeral for every wound I’d carried, and a resurrection for the woman I was trying to become.
He pulled me close after, still breathing heavy, and kissed me gently on my neck.
“You straight?” he murmured.
I laughed, eyes still closed. “I’m crooked, twisted, and mildly disoriented.”
He chuckled, pulled me into his arms, and kissed my forehead. “You’re safe with me, baby. I’ll protect your mind, body, and heart at all times.”
I closed my eyes as tears streamed down my face because I felt safe in his arms, and I believed he meant every word.
Sunlight filtered through the sheer curtains in my bedroom as if it was sent to spy on me. I was still wrapped in warmth that didn’t belong to no damn blanket. My head was resting on his chest, his arm was firmly locked around my waist, and our legs were tangled like roots that had already claimed soil. My heart was doing a steady tap dance that only Elias could’ve choreographed. My skin still carried his scent: teakwood, frankincense, and a hint of ownership.
He was still sleeping, one arm draped heavily over my hip, and his hand possessively resting on the curve of my ass like it paid rent there. His breaths were deep, calm, and peaceful. It was the type of sleep a man got when he was sure of himself… and who he had next to him.
I turned gently, my eyes landing on his face. That beard. That jawline. The way his lashes curled up like God took extra time on him. I studied him like a love poem I hadn’t finished writing.
I was experiencing a range of emotions.
I gently shifted again, trying to reach for my bonnet and not wake the beast. But of course, his hand tightened on my hip like, where you going without this good pipe and protective presence, ma’am?
“Good morning, baby.” His raspy voice was still thick with sleep.
I melted right then and there, his voice making my knees question their stability.
“Hey,” I whispered, not even trying to hide the smirk stretching across my face. “You’re sleeping hard like you didn’t just rearrange my damn soul last night.”
He chuckled softly with a hint of mischief in his voice. “Shiiid, that’s because I haven’t finished yet.”
“Boy—”
“Say the word, and I’ll flip you over right now. I don’t have to clock in till noon.”
