The ceremony was small. A few of Chase’s friends and family members. On my side were Joey and Robert, and a few other friends I’d made in Valle Granja. But it was all we needed.

What mattered was declaring our love in front of those who meant the most to us, the ones who would support us no matter what.

“Who gives this man to wed this man?” the priest asked, acknowledging that we’d asked him not to use the words ‘alpha’ and ‘omega’ during the ceremony.

“I do,” April said. “His sister.”

The priest nodded, and I stepped up to Chase’s side.

Marrying him was one more step on the journey, and one I was happy to take with him.

Not as mates, but as partners.

“I do,” I replied when I realized that I’d been asked the crucial question.

“You may now kiss, as husbands.”

This. This was the life I deserved, with the man I loved.
