“Yes.” This time she whispered the word, as emotion robbed her breath. He gathered her close, spun her around, then put her down and grasped her hand. It shook only slightly as he slid the ring on her finger, where it fit perfectly. “Oh yeah?” He leaned back, but didn’t release her. That was okay. She didn’t want him to.
