The alarm is ringingbut Orion is pumping, slowly in and out of me. We haven’t taken our eyes off each other.

“If it’s positive, we’re going to have a fucking party, baby,” he says.

His thrusting feels so good, I’m about to come. All I can do is try to nod.

“I want you to be happy about this. Are you happy?” he asks.

My mouth falls open. I hate that I had given him the impression that I’m not over the moon about the possibility of carrying our child. Sure, I’ll have to give up the lead role inFemme Fatale.But that’s fine. There will be more roles. But there’s only one Orion, and only one of our maybe baby, and both of them are worth more to me than anything in the world. “Very,” I whimper.

“Good,” he says, and then, “You first.”

He wants me to come first and he’s expertly making it happen.

After I climax,then he climaxes. Finally, we raise our eyebrows at each other, nod, then race to the bathroom as fast as we can.

Orion has the stick in his hand, reading it.

“What does it say?” I ask.

His expression falls, and my heart constricts. Then, he smiles as big as the earth and says, “We’re having a baby, baby!”

I nudge him in the arm for his little joke, and then we hug tightly. Who would’ve ever guessed that I would end up happily in love, married, and having a baby with the boss I thought I hated so much.
