Story: Blessing Of Yuri Goddess
Through the order I gave, Jean began to move to solve the problems that had been done by her sect group. With the urge to fix the mistakes she had made, Jean started to disappear and go on a holy journey to fix all the damage she had done.
Before Jean left with the new sect group that worshiped the Goddess of Destruction, I got a whisper from Momo telling me about the damage she had done.
Especially with the damage that involved the spread of poison in the river like this.
"My Monarch, do you know that they did this at the request of someone who would make my Monarch angry when heard it?" said Momo in a small whisper.
"Hmm?" hearing the whisper spoken by Momo, made me turn my gaze to her.
"Something that makes me angry when I hear it, what do you mean it is?" I replied with an calm look while watching Jean who was about to fix the damage she had done.
"Something related to the hard work that my Monarch is doing and the complicated situation in the future about the official war season approved by the royal family. I heard some of this information from my cursed sword sister before."
"Hmm... this is interesting. A preparation involving a heretical sect to do... before the war season between nobles begins? Why is the idea so similar to mine as if my enemy this time has a cunning mind like me."
"I'm sure... that's something that shouldn't be proud of with a clever and intelligent enemy like this, my Monarch."
"I feel happy and challenged when I know the enemy I'm facing is not a fool who can only rely on wealth and resources that tax the people in their territory."
"My Monarch, it seems like you should be more humble to not be too arrogant like this."
I seemed to get a suggestion from Momo to pay more attention to my attitude to be humble when getting a worthy opponent like this.
Poisoning a large river like this to weaken the noble territory that is passed by a river like this using a heretical sect?
Doesn't that mean my enemy this time has access to contact the hidden cult?
When I realized this, I started to feel annoyed after realizing it was too late.
If only Jean was still near me, maybe I could get a clue about the enemy I was going to face.
"Well... good information, Momo. It feels like I got a great chance to shine on the battlefield by showing my strength as common noble girl," I said as a joke to Momo.
"I guess that's impossible, my Monarch."
"Eh? Why is it impossible?"
"Because my Monarch has made a preventive plan that makes the enemy unable to move freely after Jean and my cursed sword sister who is going with her will hinder their every movement with the information they knew beforehand."
It seems like I have given a good order in this matter... giving an order to Jean moves the cult more hampered than before.
I don't know what Jean will do, I hope she doesn't overdo it in spreading the teachings of the Goddess of Destruction who hopes for a peaceful life without having to return to this world again.
"Speaking of Jean and her cursed rapier, will they be okay after leaving without any preparation?" I asked Momo.
"They will be okay after getting the purification from the Goddess of Destruction and the blessing given by the Monarch of Holy Destruction directly."
"My blessing, huh? Compared to giving a blessing for their holy journey, it's more like giving a kiss that marks Jean as my slave."
"Isn't it like that?"
"Of course not. What I did was give a power that makes Jean the one who is responsible for this new cult group... while I'm gone...."
"My Monarch... it's more like you become their last weapon when they get into a problem that they can't solve."
"I guess that's true, there's nothing wrong with that."
After understanding what the heretical sect had done to spread poison into the river that connected to the other noble territories in the Aurora kingdom. I started to move to return home after my business here was finished.
The preparations I made in Earl Timoti's territory have ended with the formation of a new sect that is currently being managed by Jean and planting a magic core that will make this river flow fine without toxic pollution or other things that are harmful to the ecosystem of living creatures around the river flow.
My footsteps slowly approached Mio and Evelyn's group who were resting after a long battle.
Their exhausted faces were forced to disappear after seeing me coming.
Me, who was in the Monarch of Holy Destruction mode immediately changed to my normal appearance.
Swuuusshh...
My body which had returned to normal began to feel the breeze blowing on my body.
The afternoon that was about to turn into evening twilight had to be the last lesson I could give in the military training that Evelyn's group was undergoing.
Evelyn who saw my arrival immediately lined up as if giving a military salute to one of the influential military leaders.
Sraaagg!!
Braaagg!!
With a disciplined attitude and neatly lined up, Evelyn's group began to look toward me as if expecting further orders to be given.
Along with the line shown by Evelyn's group, I also saw a line of stealth slime herds responding to this situation more formally.
My body which had returned to wearing a black military uniform and a military cap began to give a conclusion to the training that had just taken place.
"Before I give you further military training instructions, may I know what you have gained from the previous battle and the ambush tactics used?" I said while turning my gaze to Aiko as if expecting an answer from her.
Aiko looked surprised when she received my question and gaze.
Her body stood upright and began to respond regarding the ambush tactics carried out by the stealth slime herd by hiding under the fast-flowing river.
"Yes, Supreme Commander. What we have gained from this ambush tactic is a unique experience and adjustment that follows the ambush location. We carried out the ambush using silent spell casting with a high level of accuracy without error and were not detected at all!" Aiko replied by giving a report about herself who successfully carried out the ambush tactic earlier.
"Yes, I also saw the tactic you all did. It was so good that I can rely on you all in the future again," I replied by giving a compliment to Aiko.
"Thank you very much, Supreme Commander. We will be happy to fulfill your expectations who have relied on us in the future!" Aiko replied with a smile on her face that felt proud of this.
Swiisshhh ...
Srruuuggg ...
Before I continued towards Evelyn's group, I was suddenly surprised by the appearance of Sirius who seemed to want to give her own report too.
"And what about you, Sirius?" I said to Sirius who appeared suddenly.
"Supreme Commander, we have succeeded in cleaning up the remains of the rats that managed to escape from the first group's ambush. There were no rats that managed to escape us with their carcasses that could be collected to be used as food for wild animals around this place," said Sirius while giving her report with a beaming face.
"That was a pretty good job of cleaning up the remaining rats that managed to escape the first ambush point. Can I assume you'd be a good fit for a hunt that involves finding something that escaped the first ambush?" I said to Sirius with a warm smile towards her.
"Maybe it'll be a military division of stealth slimes that focuses on their specialist skills like Aiko who specializes in ambushes and you who specializes in hunting those that managed to escape Aiko's ambush," I continued with a gentle smile towards Sirius.
"Oh! Don't forget about the other group that's conducting a spy operation at the moment."
By giving this explanation, I could see Aiko and Sirius' eyes shining like stars. They seemed to be happy with such a great achievement that they gave each other a look.
"Isn't that a great idea, Sirius? I'll act as the ambush team and you hunt the rats that managed to escape our trap," Aiko said with a nod to Sirius.
"I think, I can do tracking after my magic core becomes more sensitive than before..."
"I think, I can do a mouse-hunting team that managed to survive your ambush, Aiko," replied Sirius with a nod that agreed with each other.
Along with that nod, I also started to give my gaze to Evelyn who noticed the chemistry between Aiko and Sirius that seemed close.
"Evelyn... How about you?"
"What do you feel about this kind of ambush military training?"
With the questions I gave, I tried to understand every hard work that was going on while I was busy confronting Jean who was still in infidel.
The questions I gave seemed to make Evelyn's group busy with whispers that assessed each other's performance.
In that whisper, Evelyn began to give a reasonable answer that made her group silent.
"We still don't have any real experience in actual military operations. So far we have only received education in the use of sword techniques and technical guidelines given through manuals. To experience a real situation directly like this makes us have to work together in a limited time and with limited equipment," Evelyn replied, giving her opinion on this matter.
Hearing such an answer, I started to walk towards her.
The look in her eyes that looked down as if ashamed of her group's performance that fell into a long battle had made Evelyn feel like she had failed in military training like this.
"That's what distinguishes written theory from real practical exams, right?" I said, standing in front of her.
"I'm not saying what you did was a bad move as a leader who went directly into the battlefield. What you need right now is a real experience and trying to understand what your group can do," I continued, stroking her cheek.
Caress...
Caress...
"Use this experience to break through your limits to become someone I can rely on in the future, Evelyn," with those passionate words, I gave Evelyn a soft kiss on the lips and hurried back to my horse to continue my journey back to Marquess Rommel's residence.
"Ahh!! Lily-sama!!"
Realizing that I was about to return home, I was surprised by Evelyn's gift of kissing my lips once more.
