Page 37 of Beachfront Billionaire
Tyler’s lips curl up into that mischievous grin and he leaps forward, stomping all over the sandcastle as the twin girls scream at him to stop.
They chase him along the beach as Adrian laughs and comes over to see me.
“He takes after you that one,” I say, grinning up at my man.
He runs a hand through his silver hair and laughs. “You think?”
“Oh yeah,” I say, nodding. “The eyes, the mischievous smile, the spunk and moxie. He’s definitely your little clone.”
He sits down in the empty chair beside me and holds my hand.
“I hope he finds an amazing girl like I did,” he says as heflashes those baby blue eyes at me. “He’ll need her to keep him grounded.”
“Oh yeah?” I say, my cheeks blushing from having this handsome man flirting with me. It doesn’t matter that he’s done it for thirty years, the effect is still the same as the day we met.
He nods. “He’ll need her to bring out the best in him. And he’ll need her to complete his life like you completed mine.”
“Still a charmer, Mr. Drake,” I say, smiling uncontrollably. “Some things never change.”
“Like my love for you,” he says as he leans over and kisses me. “That willneverchange.”
“Eww!” our grandson Paul shouts. “Nana and Grandpa are kissing!”
I blush, pulling away as everyone turns and looks.
“When are these guys leaving?” Adrian whispers with a wolfish grin.
“Not soon enough,” I whisper back.
I want this man all to myself with no prying eyes.
Just us, The Empire Suite, and that big comfy bed.
Nowthatsounds like paradise.
The End!
