"Let go of her. I'm giving you one fucking chance even though you don't deserve one," the man says as he still has the gun pointed towards Dante and me.

His voice is deep and smooth but threatening as he talks to Dante.

Someone is here to save me.

That must be why he is here.

I am hoping that's why he is here.

"Of course, you’re fucking here," Dante sneered and he gripped onto my hand as I tried to pull away from him. "How are you even still alive? I thought I killed you."

"Let go of her, Dante. I want to kill you, but I know that Aria out of all people should be the one to end your life."

Damn right.

I like this guy already.

"She won't kill me," Dante chuckles and that's when I push him in front of me, making him fall on his face.

When he falls, I finally see the man.

He is tall and has broad shoulders. He has an athletic build, and you can see the tattoos clawing up from under his shirt onto his hands. My eyes trail up his body and when I get to his eyes, I can't help but forget everything around me and stare at them.

They are a bright green making me think he is actually sincere but when he looks down at you, the way he looks down at Dante, you can tell he is the complete opposite.

I hold onto the wall to stand up at the same time Dante tries to stand up.

"Ace, we got to go. The bomb will go off any minute now," I hear a voice yell from outside of the cage.

I ignore the voice and go towards Dante while still holding the wall. I kick him in the stomach, making him fall on his face again.

"Aria, we have to go," the man says and I look up at him and furrow my eyebrows.

Who is he to tell me what to do?

I pick up Dante's gun from his waistband and I aim it at the man.

She hasthe gun pointed at me.

I swear I have never felt my heartbeat so fast before.

Why is she even pointing the gun at me?

"Aria-"

"How did you get in here? Who do you work for?"

Who do I work for?

Is she on something?

"Put the gun down and I can explain."

"No. First, tell me who you work for?" Aria commands.

"Ace, we got to go. Get her and get out!" Leo yells, making Aria look out of the cage and then back at me.
