Dear Robin, Things have been wild around the castle but I’m counting down until you get here!

Tiber’s parents just left after staying with us for a couple months.

They’re wonderful, though Tiber swears that they’ve lost their minds over future grandchildren who don’t exist yet and won’t for a long time to come.

While I’ve enjoyed having them, I’m thrilled to have our place to ourselves again.

I think Neptune and Ilmari are ready too.

Oh, did I tell you that Ilmari officially lives with us now?

He and Neptune are inseparable anyway so it’s not like we had a choice.

Also, I officially heard from Charles’s coven leader that there is no bad blood over his death and things are “good” between us so to speak.

In reality, I think they were too scared of going head-to-head with a dragon realm, but I don’t even care what the reason is.

Apparently, he and Fjola had engaged in a toxic, on-again, off-again relationship for a hundred or so years.

Each of them would throw various relationships or significant others in the others’ face (something I never knew, because, of course, he didn’t tell me she was an ex).

Regardless, I’m happy to put that chapter behind me and start fresh with my new mate.

I can’t believe I ever thought he was a jerk.

You’re probably sick of me writing about him, but too bad.

Once you get here, you’ll see how wonderful he is.

And fair warning, you’ll probably get hit on by dragons—some of them are so fascinated by humans.

I know you’ll hold your own. Love and miss you! Xo, Mia

Thank you so much for reading Ancient Warlord.
