I’d been stressed all day about Papa’s visit. It was Saturday, which meant I wasn’t working but Wilfred was, which I’d thought was a genius idea at the time because it meant I could spend all day preparing. However, I might have accidentally given myself all day to worry about it without anyone there to talk me down. My shoulders had tensed up and I couldn’t seem to unclench them, no matter how many times I told myself that it would be fine.
After all, it wasn’t as though I had anything to worry about. Not really.
