Page 32 of All Your Bloody Lies
“Get—” I lean forward, pushing him back against the adjacent counter with force. “Out!”
A huff of a laugh escapes him as he turns away from me. He doesn’t even bother grabbing his clothes before he has his hand on the door. “Get some sleep, little demon,” he says casually.
I can feel my body coming back to life, and the anger of what I’ve just done with this man consumes me.
“I’ll be seeing you soon.”
I’ve been sitting on this damn counter for hours, not because I’m contemplating my life choices, but because I barely just got feeling back in my legs. I need to shower. I’m covered in sweat, my blood, his cum, and my own.
Slowly, I ease myself down and hobble out of the kitchen. My core is throbbing, and not in a bad way. I don’t think I’ve ever been left this pleased.
Ever.
I find my phone lying on my bed. I’m going to need to go through all near thousands of these messages. Most are from Sydni, but there are some from the psych ward. I’ll prioritize calling them back after I’ve spoken with my cotton candy princess. Hopefully, that will get Kairhyse out of my head.
I shoot a quick text to Sydni:
Syd, I’m going to quickly shower and then I’ll call you.
Not even two seconds pass before her text hits my phone. I knew, but I wouldn’t respond, that she had pre-readied that to go when I reached out.
S Diar [23:47]
Tell me all about it. Is his dick as big as I imagine it is? Were you able to feed? Is he still there? What is his name again? He is so fucking hot, Phiny-bear. Are you sure he wants to kill you? He was concerned enough to let you feed. Maybe you can trust him?
After a quick shower, I spend the next hour talking with Sydni, who is absolutely drilling me for every single detail. I’ll tell her about feeding a man his own dick, and how I cut apart a Shifter and shipped it to his family, but for some reason telling her aboutKairhyse putting his fingers in my ass doesn’t do it for me.
Even if it completely did do it for me. That Vampire has ruined me, I already know it.
“How’re you feeling?” I can hear her clicking at her keyboard, and fast at that. “Talk to me while I dispatch the authorities to this domestic dispute. I can multi.”
“Wait, you went into work?!”
“Overtime—don’t try and change the subject. Spill it.”
I sigh, “I feel fantastic. I had to stop mid-feed, that I don’t want to talk about, but, I’ll miss this feeling once it fades. I’ve got at least three weeks until I’ll begin to feel myself drain. That means I’ll have four to five weeks before I’ll need to feed again...”
Pausing briefly, I think on that—I haven’t needed to go a full month without feeding in so long. What is most incredible, is I didn’t even take as much as he was offering.
“I need to do some damage control and try and get back in with Ansford, but in the meantime, I’m going to move on Mortars Syndicate.” I wait to see if she has anything to say, but she’s still typing, her soft ‘mhmm’ is keeping me going.
“I also need to find out who does Achille’s hiring.”
“For Rhysie-poo?”
I find my lips parting to move and speak, but nothing comes out. I’m completely at a loss for words.
“Hello? Did I lose connection?”
I’m still reeling, “What in the Beyond did you call him?” Maybe I just misheard her. There is absolutely no way that she called him—
“Rhysie-poo? You know, the Vampire that devastated your pussy.” I can hear her coworkers screaming and laughing in the background at her vulgar tongue in the workplace.
I’m proud of her, but also disgusted she would call him that.
“His name is Kairhyse, Syd. Do not call him that.”
I can practically see the fucking smirk on her lips, “Awe,whyyyyyPhiny-bear?!”
