CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHT

MAE

As they ran, Mae couldn’t help but laugh at the way the water sparkled and shimmered with color each step they took.

The feeling of the cool water splashing against her legs and the vibrant colors of the water illuminating their path was exhilarating; the water was aglow with an ethereal light that shimmered and danced across the surface.

Watai grinned at her, clearly pleased with her reaction as he led Mae through the maze of puddles surrounded by volcanic rock and speckled with glittery dust to the lake's edge.

Mae could feel the water getting deeper and deeper as they ran. The shallow puddles they had been stepping in before gave way to a deeper pool into a large and beautiful lake.

The crystal clear water shimmered in the moonlight, and Mae could see schools of brightly colored fish swimming just below the surface.

Mae stopped to take in the wonder of it all, and Watai stopped beside her. They stood there in silence, soaking in the natural beauty around them.

He gestured for her to join him in the deeper water, and she hesitantly stepped in, the water feeling cool against her skin.

She felt a little nervous at first, but with Watai by her side, she trusted him and started to swim. The water was a little colder than the shallow puddles, but it was refreshing.

As she swam, Watai stayed close by, guiding her strokes and teaching her how to tread water. The colors of the lake seemed to change with each movement, and Mae was mesmerized by the beauty of it all.

The water was crystal clear and the moon and the stars in the night sky were shining through it, illuminating the colorful fish swimming around their feet.

Watai laughed, encouraging her to dive deeper and explore the underwater world.

Mae was hesitant at first, but with Watai by her side, she felt safe and secure.

They swam through schools of luminescent fish and past glowing plants that swayed in the current.

Mae laughed as a few fish brushed against her, tickling her skin.

She paddled around in the lake, enjoying the cool water after being out in the sun all day. The night sky above was filled with stars, twinkling like diamonds in the dark. She felt a sense of peace and contentment as she swam, the worries of the day slipping away.

Her confidence in the water had grown, and she was able to navigate the currents and waves with ease. She remembered when she first started swimming, how she would struggle to keep herself afloat, but now she was able to glide through the water with grace.

She took a deep breath and dove, the cool water enveloping her.

There were fish darting in and out of the plants and rocks, their scales glimmering in the moonlight. She felt free and alive, as if she were part of the water and the world below it.

As she surfaced for air, she laughed and splashed, feeling carefree. Watai swam beside her, his eyes shining with happiness as he watched her enjoy herself.

He gestured for her to float on her back, leading by example.

As they floated, they watched the stars twinkle in the sky. Mae felt grateful for this moment and the experience she shared with Watai.

She'd have to thank Iskzo for telling him how much she wished they could explore the surrounding area on their own, because this was far superior to some exotic vacation spot.

After a long silence, Watai pointed to Iskzo and motioned for them to return to shore. Mae nodded, as the effects of the long hunt, dressing down, and lush swim began to wear on her now that the rush of excitement from the day had worn off.

Mae was grateful for this time with Watai, as well as the way he led her back to the beach, holding her hand tightly as the water rolled against their legs.

As they reached the sandy shore, Watai turned to face her, his eyes shining with a warm light. Mae felt a flutter in her chest as she gazed into his eyes, and she knew at that moment that she was falling in love with him.

They stood there for a moment in silence, hand in hand, before Watai finally broke the silence. “Mae, hewvi?” he asked, his voice low and husky.

Mae nodded, and he led her to a clearing where the grass was long and lush, and the dense jungle canopy opened just enough to see the night sky.

Mae bent down to lie on the bed of grass, staring up at the sky above her. Watai sat beside her, pointed out the different constellations, and told her stories about each of them

She listened in awe as he spoke of the stars and moon, feeling a sense of wonder and connection to the universe, even though she still couldn’t understand what he was saying.

But that didn’t matter to her, what mattered was being with him in the moment, as they absorbed each other’s presence in peace, away from peering eyes and ears.

As they lay there, Watai wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close to him. She felt safe in his embrace, the warmth of his body and the gentle rhythm of his breathing lulling her into a peaceful state.

Mae couldn’t help but feel a surge of emotions from peering at the celestial bodies above her in his presence, so she turned to Watai and leaned in, pressing her lips to his without hesitation.

Watai responded to her kiss, embracing her tightly as they savored their moment, placing her onto her back as he gazed down at her. The faint glimmer of stars and moonlight shone down on them, enveloping them within its tender glow as they lay entranced in one another.

Mae locked her gaze with a teal glare that burned with hunger.

Something about the gaze caused a similar heat to flare up within her. There was no mistaking that expression. His eyes roamed over her possessively, lingering on the soft curves of her breasts and hips.

That expression was unmistakable—he desired her.

Stunned by the intensity of this gaze, she found that his muscular tail had slipped around her waist and wound between her legs, parting her thighs for him.

Pleasure bloomed as he teased her.

Mae’s breath caught in her throat, her heart pounding as she looked up at the man she had grown to respect, desire, and was beginning to love deeply despite their lack of communication.

Watai was more than just attractive; he was stunning. Every muscle in his chest appeared to have been sculpted by an artist’s brush and hand, every detail carved with great attention and care.

His black horns were sharp and elegant, complementing his long fuchsia hair that flowed behind him in the water.

His dark sapphire body was chiseled and muscular, with glowing teal scales in a swirling pattern that added to his allure.

His piercing teal eyes captivated her, and his tail was like a hypnotic dance as it moved through the air with a mind of its own.

She felt a rush of desire every time he gestured or smiled at her, and here he was, gazing down above her like she was not only the only female in the world, but the greatest treasure in the universe.

“ Ayn mew nya, Mae? ” he asked with a smirk, his voice husky and deep, filled with the same desire that rushed through her.

Mae raised her hand to trace across his pecs, her chest fluttering as if she couldn’t get enough air into her lungs due to their very close proximity.

Her lips parted as his breath tickled her skin, and as if it was pure reflex, he pressed his lips to hers.

The passion in his kiss was intense and all-consuming, sending shivers down her spine.

She wrapped her arms around him, pulling him closer, feeling the heat from his body against hers.

Every nerve in her body was alive and buzzing with desire.

She began to lose herself in the moment, letting the sensations wash over her.

Watai’s hands roamed over her body, igniting a fire deep within.

She never wanted the kiss to end, but eventually they had to pull away for air. Watai looked down at her, his eyes filled with love and desire.

Watai pressed his lips against Mae’s neck, trailing kisses down her skin.

Mae shuddered at the touch, her hands gripping tightly onto his muscular arms. She felt his tongue run along the delicate skin of her neck, sending shivers down her spine.

The sensations were overwhelmingly intense, making her feel like she was on fire.

She closed her eyes, lost in the moment, as Watai’s touch became more passionate the further down he kissed—from her neck, to the valley between her breasts, along the middle of her stomach, past her belly button, before pausing right before the seam of her bikini bottoms.

She opened her eyes and sat up, peering down at him, wondering why he’d stopped.

His heated gaze met hers before flicking down to where he’d paused. “ Ayn mew, kess? ”

You want, yes?

“Yes, I want, Watai.” She nodded and sighed, leaning back and closing her eyes. “ Kess, nya mew, Watai. ”

Watai undressed her without hesitation, dragging his fingers along her skin and setting her body on fire.

The abrupt silence caused Mae to become concerned, and when she opened her eyes, she found Watai staring at her crotch as though he were attempting to solve a Rubik’s Cube for the very first time.

“Watai?”

He gestured to her pussy and then at his leaf loin clothed skirt with a confused expression which, at first, made Mae concerned until she remembered how his cock looked when he was showing her how to use the toilet flower.

His cock was made up of three tentacles that moved independently as well as wrapped up together like a swirl ice cream cone, but with three flavors instead of two.

She wondered what the females of his species were equipped with, and how different it was compared to a woman.
