Three months later
Pierre/Linx
I enjoyed both of my sisters’ weddings. Since Healani’s family took my sister in, it was only right to acknowledge them as my family as well.
Creek said she and Healani always dreamed of having a double wedding, and they pulled it off.
The ballroom in the hotel was decorated in a Winter Wonderland theme, and it was beautiful.
Their happiness made me think about how I needed to put some roots down myself.
Could I find a woman who could accept my lifestyle? Would I make a great mate?
I sat at the open bar in Pryde’s hotel and sipped on my green juice and vodka when I smelled the most delectable fragrance ever.
I immediately gave the unexpected guest my attention.
I knew Destiny’s fragrance from anywhere.
As many times as her essence marinated my tongue, oh, I was more than aware of Pryde’s first-shift receptionist.
“Hi, may I have a cranberry and vodka, please?” she asked the bartender.
“Anything for a beautiful woman such as yourself,” this corny negro voiced.
She smiled slyly at him and bit her bottom lip.
“Fuck is you flirting with this lame for… and in front of me?” I probed in my Patois accent.
“I do not acknowledge one-night stand bedmates. If you have any questions or concerns, place it in the Destiny ‘doesn’t give a fuck’ box,” she expressed. The bartender laughed like she’d leaped behind the bar and tickled his funny bone.
“Fuck do you find so damn funny?” I questioned his corny ass.
“Please, ignore the ape at the bar,” she told him. “What time do you get off?” she asked him coyly.
When her luscious pink lips wrapped around that black straw, my man’s was at full attention.
Destiny is what people call slim-thick. She was slim, but she had curves to die for and a peach-shaped ass that I missed holding onto while she rode me into pure ecstasy.
My eyes trailed over her sexy-ass body in the blush pink strapless skater dress with some nude fuck me pumps on.
Destiny was all natural like Creek, and she wore her auburn, curly mane on full display. Her green eyes, however, had me hooked.
“I get off in two hours, beautiful. Can you wait that long for me?” he asked, biting his bottom lip.
“Of course I can, handsome.” She batted her lashes at him prettily as she danced along to the music.
“You trying to get me to show my ass, aren't you?” I released a growl so deep that the bartender froze, and my body started to tremble.
However, Destiny wasn’t fazed. “I don’t care what you do. Show them your dick, too, while you're at it. I’m sure you’ll get a lot of bitches with the attention you seek,” she replied nonchalantly.
“You think I’m joking?” I queried, gazing at her. She hunched her shoulders. “Okay.” I extended my long arm over the bar and wrapped my large hand around the bartender’s throat.
Destiny placed down her drink quickly. “What are you doing? Are you insane? Let him go!” she shouted.
“You still think I’m playing? Does it look like I want attention? But I see I have your attention now!” I shouted back at her.
“Fuck you, Pierre. I’m tired of this shit.
You’ve been leading me on for months now, but no more.
I’m not some fucking game, Pierre. You claim you couldn’t find me, but anybody with two fucking eyes will be able to find me.
I’m the only black woman that works at this damn hotel with auburn hair and green eyes.
I won’t continue to make a scene at your sisters’ reception, so I’ll leave,” she voiced and marched out of the reception with the door slamming behind her.
I let the bartender go, and he collapsed onto the floor, gasping for air.
“You sure got a way with the ladies,” Dax teased, standing next to me.
We chuckled together. “Nope. I only know how to deal with that one. Look at the door, brother,” I told him. Dax followed my line of sight, and Destiny stood there with her arms crossed and her hip out.
“I see you, brother. Now, go and tattoo your name on that ass, then make an honest woman out of her,” Dax demanded.
“Say less, bro.”
I dapped him up as I raced out of the room with Destiny in my arms, bridal style. She was about to see how serious I was.
