“Alessandro, stop it. Let me go, please! I don’t want to talk about this.”
I lean down, my mouth next to her ear, causing goosebumps to erupt across her skin when I speak. “Too bad. We’re talking about it. I’ll ask one more time. Who fucked your ass?”
“A-an ex-boyfriend. My mamma and grandparents didn’t know about him. He told me I would still be a virgin and that he loved me. He broke up with me the next day when he told me I was ruined. I’m not ruined Alessandro, I promise!” She weeps as I turn her over, pushing us back on the bed and settling myself between her legs again.
I kiss her lips gently before wiping away a tear. “It’s okay. I won’t pretend to love you, but I will promise I’ll be here tomorrow.” She doesn’t respond until I slowly push myself into her, giving her time to adjust to my size. She screams as I push past the point of resistance, pausing when I’m settled inside her heat.
Luci cries quietly. “It hurts, Alessandro.”
“Shhhh. I know, Luci. Relax and let me fuck you.” I reach between us, rubbing her clit as the tension in her body releases. She gives a small moan and I take that as my sign to move. “That’s right, let the pain fade and pleasure take place. I’ll be gentle with you.” Her entire body shifts and I know she’s giving into the pleasure coursing through her.
“Oh my God. Jesus Christ. Holy. Wow.” She’s rambling, unsure of what to say while she surrenders to her body’s natural reaction to me.
“Yes, Luci. Call for them all you want, but remember I am your holy trinity now.” She stiffens when I perform the sign of the cross on her and lean down to kiss the crucifix on her necklace. As unholy as that is, the way she tightens around my length tells me that she secretly enjoys the way I speak to her.
“Alessandro. I think. I think I’m going to. Oh!” Her orgasm causes her to clench down, making it impossible to move and simultaneously causing my release. Even though that wasn’t my intention, I’m not mad I came inside Luci.
A minute later I pull out of her slowly, watching the intoxicating sight of her blood and my cum on my shaft and leaking out of her. I grab her on the jaw, forcing her attention on me, on us. “Do you see the mess you made? That’s us, both of us.”
She realizes what I mean and panics. “Did you? Did you, you know?”
“Yes, I did. When you came, you clenched down and strangled my cock until I had no other option except to stuff your pretty pussy with my cum.”
Luci shoots up in bed. “This is bad. This is really bad! I’m not on birth control, remember? There’s a pill we can get for this, right? We need to get one.”
Anger rushes through me. I thought we had the birth control conversation, at least I did. “No way in hell anyone is getting you Plan B. If you get pregnant, so be it. Regardless, it’s against your belief to interfere with God’s will. We’re getting married. Get the fuck over it. This conversation is over. Finito! Got it?” She’s silent with a stare cold enough to turn Medusa to stone when she slowly inches to the edge of the bed, wincing at the uncomfortable position she’s in. “What are you doing?”
“I was planning on putting my clothes back on and going back to the other bedroom to wash myself. Problem?”
“Yes. Several actually. What I said earlier hasn’t changed. You’re sleeping in my bed from now on. You can put on clothes and shower in the morning, but tonight, you are sleeping with my cum and the evidence of your broken innocence between your legs. Get comfortable Luci, because how difficult your life is all depends on how you respond to our family’s business dealings.” I leave her sitting on the bed as I turn on the shower, almost disappointed to wash her blood from my shaft. It’s captivating, turning lighter in color as it’s mixed with the water in the shower and runs down the drain.
I come out of the bathroom to see Luci curled up in bed, making herself look as small as she feels. I crawl into bed next to her, lying close but not cuddling with her.
I don’t realize I’ve fallen asleep until I wake up the next morning. I search for my phone only to find Luci still asleep, curled close to me. I roll out of bed, studying her flawless form, and have to remind myself that she’s only business before I walk into the bathroom to prepare for the day.
Chapter 13
Luci
26 Days Until The Wedding
The cold sheets mixed with the scent of citrus and amber slap me with the reminder of last night. I find the courage to open my eyes and peel the sheets back to scan the inside of my thighs. I see the remnant of what I let Alessandro do to me last night and crumble in tears.
“What did I do?” I rush into the bathroom, desperate to scrub away any evidence of his touch. Any logic I have is shoved aside when I’m in the shower, thinking that maybe if I take the hottest shower possible, it will erase last night. My skin is scrubbed pink by the time I’m out of the shower. I dress in the clothes I wore last night, ready to take the walk of shame back to my bedroom. What a joke. I’m referring to the metaphorical cage Alessandro stuck me in as my bedroom.
I keep my chin down as I open the door. I don’t get far before I run into the brick wall that is the man who’s assigned to watch me. Enzo, I think? He has this smug expression on his face and it makes me wonder if he knows what happened last night.
I look away, avoiding him as my cheeks heat. I really need to get out of this room. “I need to get back to the other bedroom. Will you move?”
“I’ll escort you back to your old bedroom.” He walks away as I process what he said.
“Wait! What do you mean my old bedroom? Who are you anyway?” Alessandro never fails to surprise or irritate me. At this point, I’m convinced it’s his default mode.
“You’re right, we’ve never properly been introduced. How rude of me. I’m Enzo and you can refer to me as your bodyguard, security detail, babysitter, friend, whatever. I’m here to ensure you’re protected with the ulterior motive of making sure I’m not shot out back like a cow that’s stopped giving milk.” He must see the confusion on my face as he continues. “I left the door unguarded, and you ran. According to Marco, if that happens again I’m fired, but according to Alessandro, if it happens again I’m dead.”
“That’s melodramatic. There’s no need for me to have a babysitter. I’ve learned my lesson that it’ll be more difficult to leave Casa di Leone than I thought. Now excuse me.” He moves aside only to snicker when I scan around, unsure of what way to go. Enzo interrupts me when I turn to the left, letting me know I’ve picked the wrong way.
“It’s this way. I’ll lead you back to the bedroom.” I’d love to ignore Enzo, but I need his help in this maze of a house.
