Theo’s expression turns thunderous. “If our people have been destroying realms, I want to know why, how, and who the fuck is behind it.”
I look at him and then at Viktor. “But then what? We have the proof, but what next? Who do we tell?”
“We’ll worry about that after we steal the information,” Viktor says. “First, proof. Second, we do something about it.”
“Okay, so let’s say we do this, and everything goes well.” Jonah looks at Theo. “Do we just gun it down the highway and head off into the sunset?”
“At a gas station a few miles back, there was a flyer for log cabin rentals in a park not too far from Everlast—”
“Log cabins? Seriously?” Willow sits up straighter, grinning at Theo, who appears unbothered by the interruption. “I love that type of house. I can make us a celebratory dinner, and then we can have a campfire. Maybe we can make some s’mores. Oh, please tell me we can rent a cabin!”
I grin at her. “What Theodon wasgoingto say is we rented one already.”
Willow throws a victory fist in the air. “Yes, I can’t wait!”
“Alright, now that we have a plan, Viktor and I are going to go scouting.” Theo straightens, as does Viktor, and he asks, “Will you let the spirits know we no longer need their services, Willow?”
I suppress a shiver. The owners of this RV passed away a few years ago after it had slipped off the road and slammed into a tree, sending them both through the windshield. Willow made them visible to ask if they would be our lookouts while we planned our journey into Everlast, but at first, it was hard not to stare at their fatal injuries.
Willow nods. “Yup, will do!”
Theodon looks around at us, his expression grim, “Then it’s settled. In two days’ time, we’ll be back at Everlast.”
Chapter22
WILLOW
Logically, I know I probably should be fretting and going over the plan with Theo again. Tomorrow he, Viktor, and Jonah will be slipping into Everlast, breaking into Theo’s old home, and trying to find the Royal Diary. While they do that, Kwil and I will be running offense to keep any attention off of them.
So much could go wrong.
Yet, worrying about it seems like a waste. Either it goes well, or it won’t, in which case we’ll have to come up with a plan B on the fly.
Right now, I’d rather relax before chaos ensues.
“Fuck,” Jonah whispers in my ear. “You feel so good around my dick.”
I can’t speak. The sparkling and tingling happening deep inside me is stealing my breath away. Or maybe it’s how Jonah has my legs stretched wide in front of us. Pressed against Jonah’s back, he has me leaning forward ever so slightly, so that he can bury his thick dick deep inside of me from behind. His ankles have hooked underneath mine, and he has spread our legs wide out in front of us as far as we can go. It feels like an acrobatic trick with how he’s managed this position. I didn’t know my legs could stretch this wide or that I could bend forward in such a manner. We’re exposed to the room, and there’s nothing I can do about it. His tail has come around and wrapped itself around my wrists, holding them together behind me. I try to jerk my hips to gain some friction, but this position is for pleasurable torture, not for relief.
And Jonah knows that.
I whimper as he chuckles into my ear.
“You’re fucking dripping down me. I can feel you,” he murmurs. His hands slide up my curves before sliding over my stomach and then up to my breasts where he teases my nipples.
“Please.” My voice wavers. “Please, Jonah, my sweetest pet, I need some relief…”
“I love how you beg. I’m definitely going to do this more often, even if that means torturing myself.”
I can hear his grin. I laugh breathlessly, and he groans loudly.
The motel door opens, and Theo strolls in with Kwil right behind him, deep in conversation. Both pause as their eyes land on us. Kwil kicks the door shut as a deep, eager growl rumbles through his chest.
“What do we have here?” Theo asks softly as he takes a step towards us.
“Oh, just savoring the pussy that belongs to the woman I love.” Jonah flexes inside of me. I try to move my hips to create friction, to no avail.
“Theo, Kwil, he’s not playing fair. Help me!”
