Larison: One minute I’m a single mom in grad school, living away from my family for the first time, and the next I’m withdrawing from school, moving back home, and signing a lease for my very own romance bookstore, all thanks to an inheritance from my beloved grandmother. The new bookstore is taking up all my time and both of my moms are unavailable to watch my daughter, Juniper, but my best friend, Sophie, knows someone she thinks will be perfect.
Jo: Looking after Juniper should be a breeze. She’s a fun, well-behaved (relatively), and engaging kid. The problem is her mother, Larison. Larison: Being distractingly attracted to my new nanny was not something I ever saw happening to me, but here we are. Jo is driven and gorgeous and she’s wonderful with my daughter in a way that makes me feel all kinds of inappropriate things.
