Story: Unbridled
“Oh, it’s safe. But don’t forget we back up to Moshannon State Forest as well as state game land. There are plenty of wild animals out there. And I’m not talking about the two legged variety.” He clawed at the air and snarled.
“Like the Big Bad Wolf?”
“Try coyotes, bears, and elk.”
Cara’s brow furrowed. “Elk?”
Dayne’s eyebrows rose. “Ever cross a pissed-off bull elk?”
“I can’t say that I have,” she admitted.
“Well, I have. I rate that experience a zero out of five stars. I also had to wash my underwear immediately afterward.”
Cara slapped a hand over her mouth to smother her laugh, but Heath didn’t bother to hide his.
“Okay,” Dayne started, “if we have everything, let’s get back to the tour. We have one more quick stop before dinner.”
As soon asDayne parked the UTV in front of the farmhouse located between The Mane Lodge and the barn, he explained to his passengers, “The resort was originally a dairy farm where me and my siblings were raised. After my father passed and he willed us the property, one of the updates we made to the original house was adding both wingsso we could all live here on the property.” He jerked a thumb to his left. “My brother lives on the west side with his two partners. Our younger sister lives in the main house and”—he jerked his chin toward the west side—“I occupy the east wing.”
“Histwopartners?” Cara asked.
“He’s in a polyamorous relationship with our Facilities Manager, Ford, and our Guest Services Manager, Erin.”
“Do they share her or each other?” Heath asked him.
“Each other.”
“And it works?” Cara sounded dubious.
“So far. Enough so that they’re building their own home away from the main resort area so they’ll have more privacy.”
“Do identical twins normally have the same sexual preferences?” Heath asked.
Dayne shrugged. “Good question. Maybe Google knows.”
“Should we climb out?” Heath asked next.
Dayne shook his head. “Not right now. We’re cutting it close for dinner. Are you two hungry?”
Cara pressed a hand to her stomach. “Starving.”
“Must’ve been all that activity,” Heath teased her.
“Breakfast seems like a week ago,” she told him.
“Then, let’s get you fed,” Dayne said.
After dropping them off at the lodge, he returned the UTV to the equipment shed, then hoofed it back to the lodge to join them.
As they sat eating another delicious meal from the menu his sister was responsible for, they talked about everything, and a lot about nothing. But Dayne caught himself watching both Cara and Heath eat.
The slide of the fork between their lips, the way their throats worked as they swallowed, a sweep of a tongue tocatch a crumb from the corner of their mouth. The way they moaned softly when they ate something extraordinarily delicious.
Thank you, Danica!
Of course, if anyone was capable of turning dinner into a turn-on, it was him. Actually, he was pretty damn good at turning most activities into something sexual.
As soon as the table was cleared, he invited them to join him in the lounge located off the lobby for an after-dinner drink. Both agreed, even though Cara kept smothering her yawns.
