Story: There's a Way
She once again said the wordrehabso it was clear she was being facetious with the word, and my curiosity was piqued, but I understood it might be a while before she could explain what had happened. I’d need to know at some point, but it could wait. Trust takes time.
“I’d have to sit down and take a count of all the people it takes for my life to run smoothly, and I’d probably miss several, but thankfully, only Angie has the freedom to come and go as necessary.” Okay, not entirely true. “Well, my security guys needfull access, but they aren’t in charge of managing my life, so that’s different.”
“You’ve mentioned Mitch and Charlie quite a bit.”
“Charlie’s my manager, and Mitch is director. I’m usually producer, but he sticks his nose in here and there, so I guess he’s kind of both.” Truth be told, I stick my nose into the directing, too, but no need to mention that at the moment. “Neither are in charge of my private life in any way, shape, or form. They’re usually only around after the band and I have created new stuff, and Charlie and Mitch help us get it polished. They can get into the gate, but they don’t have access to get into the house. Someone has to let them in.”
“Who takes care of your cars?”
“These days, the bikers do — or I guess it’s more accurate to say their shop does. Angie lets them know when one needs servicing, and they send someone to get it. They also have someone they can send to wash one or all of them. For something big, they prefer I come pick it up, so they can make small changes while I wait if I’m not happy with something, or they can just keep it and work on it if necessary, and I’m glad that’s the case or I might not’ve met Davy.”
“Speaking of Davy, I’m not comfortable leaving him alone much longer.”
I smiled. It was good she was thinking of him. I knew him well enough to know he’d be fine, but she didn’t, and she’d clearly been trained to keep an eye on someone after a scene.
“One more question — I think our little scene went well, but did I read it right? Is this something you want to pursue? See where it takes us?”
“I do. At the risk of saying this too soon, I like both of you and the whole situation. It’s like you’re custom-made exactly to my specifications, ready for me to step in. I keep waiting for some horrible something to rear its head, but so far thathasn’t happened. Seems a little too perfect, and that has me a touch worried, but I’m trying to just thank the Universe without looking for negatives that may not even exist.”
I made note of her wording about thanking the Universe but didn’t comment on it. “I feel mostly the same — you seem perfect for us.”
I opened the door and motioned her into the hallway. “What do you usually eat for breakfast?”
“Steak with fried eggs, sometimes with bacon on the side. I managed to snag some venison last week and I’ve been enjoying it as a change, but I buy beef from the bikers, and that’s what I usually have. There should be some carbs, too, but I change that up — pancakes, waffles, biscuits, toast. I’m a huge fan of honey.Huge. I eat more than you’d expect, and breakfast is kind of important or I’m a grumpy grizzly. Coffee, too.”
I paused outside the playroom door. “Then we’ll make sure to feed you. I cut most carbs out just before I go on tour, or before we record video, but I eat them in moderation the rest of the time. Still, we eat a lot of chicken, turkey, and beef. Davy eats a lot of salads, and I find myself eating them with him.”
“Yeah, I’m not big on those.”
I opened the door to see Davy kneeling beside the bed, and I motioned Micca in. “Not a problem. If you’re going to be here a lot, you’ll need to let Angie know what to keep on hand for you. I’ll tell her to keep an eye on our beef and honey levels, and eggs.”
“So, no cook? No cleaning staff? No driver? No in-house masseuse?”
I made sure the door closed all the way and followed her to the bed. “My security team insists on driving me, and cleaning people used to come twice a week, but now they come once a week since Davy takes care of the clutter and changes the sheets on the bed every day. He often cooks on the weekends, andwe order out sometimes, but I’m capable of cooking. I have a masseuse I can call when I need her.”
Micca sat on the side of the bed, and I stood over Davy a few seconds before I pulled him up and held him a few moments. “Climb onto the bed, boy. Let’s put Micca between us tonight.”
“Actually,” Micca said, “I’ll do better on one of the sides, and not in the middle. One of the aftereffects of the reason I neededrehab, but it isn’t good to make me feel cornered.”
I made a mental note to make sure we didn’t do that, and gave her a smile. “Well then, looks like I get the middle. Ya’ll climb on around me, then.”
Chapter 14
Micca
I wasn’t even a tiny bit sleepy, and I looked at the wall clock and realized it was a little after eleven.
“I’d originally planned to have this talk with Davy alone, just the two of us,” Will said, “but I think maybe it should happen with the three of us.” He paused and said, “Okay, maybe Davy should be in the middle right now. Hang on.”
He levered himself up and over Davy, pushed at Davy’s arm until his boy moved closer to me, and then dropped back to the mattress and rested his hand on Davy’s stomach, a few inches above his flaccid cock — a Master casually touching his property, and the whole thing was a turn-on for me.
“Being a slave to two Masters won’t be easy, Davy. Talk to me about how you’re feeling tonight.”
“I’ve never been turned on by a girl, Master, and Icamewhile I was inside her. I’ve heard Cam say he’s only bisexual with Cassie, and even then, only when their Masters are there to direct them, and I kind of thought it was bullshit, but maybe I’m going to be bi for Micca?”
He hadn’t answered Will’s question, but I bit my tongue instead of reprimanding him. We’d get to my rules later, and even then, they’d apply to my questions for him and not Will’s. Although, I suppose Will had only asked him to tell him how he’s feeling, even though he opened the question by talking about being a slave to two masters. Some of this would beunderstanding their dynamic. Will treated Davy like a slave most of the time, but when it came to feelings, it seemed the rules were closer to that of a submissive.
And perhaps that was the norm in an actual relationship. I don’t think Bran loves any of the slaves or submissives in his household. He likes them, and he has something of a relationship with many of them, but it’s hard for me to imagine Branin lovewith anyone.
