Page 102 of The Perfect Pick Up
Felix bent down to kiss her neck, and Thea closed her eyes. “Me too.”
“You have?” he asked, crawling up her body.
“Hopelessly depressed.”
Felix came to rest between Thea’s thighs, his solid hips spreading her open. He gently pulled the scrunchie from her ponytail and kissed the end of her nose. “Then there’s hope for me?” His voice was a whisper.
Thea nodded.
Felix closed his eyes, holding them shut, before opening his fair lashes. “I love you, Thea.”
“I love you, too,” she whispered, the words leaving her mouth before she realised.
Felix’s eyes widened to the size of hubcaps. “Really?”
“Yes.” She drew her brows together, her breath shallow in her chest. “I just didn’t want to admit it. And I think I mixed up my downstairs feelings with my upstairs ones.”
“Sorry?” he asked, searching her face.
“Nothing. I just want you to know how happy you make me and that I’m all in.”
An enormous grin grew on Felix’s lips, and he shifted on his elbows over her. “Those words are more than I could ever have hoped for.” He leaned in towards Thea and gave her a tender kiss.
After a second, his mouth left hers. “So, when can we get started on being together?”
Thea chuckled. “We’ll have to discuss the finer details, of course.”
“Fuck the details,” Felix growled before bringing all his weight against Thea, kissing her hard. With the pressure of his body between her legs, the ache at her core renewed, and she ground against him, pulling him in, her hands grasping his buttocks. Their tongues chased each other, intertwined, and their bodies crushed together before they both broke away, sharing quick breaths.
“I need to have you,” Felix rasped, his voice strangled, his face as intense as she’d ever seen it.
Thea’s stomach flipped at the thought of him inside her, owning her, loving her. “Take me then,” she whispered.
Felix kissed her forehead and rolled away. He stood with his back to her and pulled his trousers and boxers off. Thea swallowed. His buttocks reallyweresuperior.
After a moment and a tear of foil, Felix rejoined her on the blankets.
“You came prepared? That was very bold.”
“I had every hope my Swiss roll would seal the deal.”
“Not your sausage?”
“Thea.” His lazy smile and his low growl made her pulse pick up.
“Yes, Felix?”
“Tell me how you want me to fuck you.”
The corners of her lips tipped up, and she swallowed. “Hard.” It was the only word she had said before Felix crashed his lips down onto hers, and she took his solid shoulders in her hands. He was relentless with his tongue, its rhythm setting her senses alight. She ran her hands down his back and gripped the skin of his waist, urging him to come closer, to relieve the throbbing of desire between her legs.
After what felt like an eternity, he broke their kiss, dipped his head down and found her breast. The touch of his tongue brought exquisite waves of delight, and Thea moaned.
At the sound, Felix nudged her legs apart with his knee. “You want it hard?”
Thea nodded. Who had time for romance? She needed him to bang the living crap out of her. To remind her she was still young and alive. To drive away the years of pain. To banish the underlying shade of loneliness.
With the gentlest kiss to her lips, Felix reached down between her legs. She gasped at the brush of his fingertips on her soft flesh. But before she could register the pulsing ache he left in his wake, he was inside her with one quick thrust.
