Story: The Fae Kings' Bargain
Ria couldn’t hold back a frustratedmmphas she pulled her hand away. Forget heirs—in that moment, she wanted to be pregnant already so they didn’t have to worry over such things. So they could be together fully. Unfortunately, the healer had given her only possibilities, not certainties.
“Sorry,” she said.
Mehl’s lips curved against her shoulder, and his finger flicked against her nub until she gasped. “One of you will see to me soon enough,” he murmured against her skin.
From Mehl’s clever fingers and the mental images his words evoked, Ria’s body trembled with the fire that rushed through her. Moaning low, she caught Toren’s gaze. “Please.”
Some of that dark intensity returned as Toren gripped her thighs in a gentle but firm hold, lifting her lower body until she half-floated. Wordlessly, Mehl anchored her upper body against his chest, and the vulnerable position sent a bolt of nervous excitement through her. But she wouldn’t be hurt—both men would see her safe.
In one thrust, Toren entered her, just as Mehl tweaked her nipple between his fingers. She screamed from the strength of the combined sensations, but the force of her release didn’t relent as Toren took her body without hesitation, Mehl steady behind her. Like she was—had always been—theirs.
Then Toren’s magic crashed through her, and her world went blissfully white.

Mehl hadno clue if he would be able to hold on. Not to Ria—she was secure in his arms. But his control was another matter entirely. His balls were drawn up so tight they ached, but releasing in the water might bring disaster. Ria had a ridiculously small risk of getting pregnant that way, but they couldn’t afford even a slight chance.
Suddenly, Toren’s magic bolted through Ria and into him, and Mehl let out a strangled cry. “Lift her from the water,” he gasped out.
Toren’s jaw clenched. “No time. I…”
This was it—Mehl was going to die right here. He wrapped his hand around the end of his cock in an almost-painful grip. He needed to look away. Think unpleasant thoughts. Anything. But he couldn’t take his eyes off Toren’s face as his husband came. Gods, what a perfect sight.
Even as Toren shuddered from the aftershocks, he gathered Ria from Mehl’s hold and stepped back. Shivering, Mehl watched Toren rub gentle circles on Ria’s back as she trembled against him. Then his husband walked over to the platform and settled her gently on the edge. Mehl’s heart squeezed as he watched Toren wrap a drying cloth gently around her shoulders.
“Stay here, love,” Toren said. “And I’ll see to Mehl.”
This time, it was Mehl’s moan that filled the room.

Dazed,Ria gathered the drying cloth close to stave off the chill air and stared at Toren’s back once more as he returned to the other side of the pool. Tremors still shook her body from the force of their passion, but she couldn’t be annoyed at Toren for leaving her here. Of all of them, poor Mehl had it the worst. He deserved release.
Part of her wondered if she should avert her gaze to give the kings privacy, but as Toren swept Mehl into his arms for a long kiss, she couldn’t force herself to do so. Surely, they would have commanded her to leave if they wanted privacy? Gods, she hoped that was the case. As Mehl boosted himself onto the narrow rim of the pool near his earlier seat, Ria couldn’t hold back a little whimper. The way the water rolled down his body to caress every line…
Toren glanced at her. “Ria?”
He must have heard her whimper. Blast it. She couldn’t pretend ignorance now. “Should I look away?” she asked. “Or leave?”
His slight smile took on a wicked slant. “That depends on your own comfort. I’d rather expected you to watch.”
“Yes,” Mehl bit out, his head thrown back. “Stay.”
Toren hadn’t been joking about leaving the decision to her, for he turned back to Mehl without another word. Well, with their permission granted, she certainly wasn’t going anywhere. As Toren kissed his way down Mehl’s chest and along the line of his hip, her own skin flushed with heat. She didn’t know why, but the sight of them together flamed her desire nearly as much as physical touch.
Ria’s moan was lost beneath Mehl’s as Toren took his husband’s cock in his mouth. She squeezed her thighs together, and the drying cloth slipped from her loosened grip as she stared, transfixed, at the sight. Mehl’s muscles stood out in sharp relief as he clung to the edge of the pool, and Toren’s pale hair tangled around his thighs, the tendrils connecting them in an unbearably intimate way.
Gods. Tes had claimed that Ria would die in the High King’s bed, but Ria was fairly confident that if she were to die anywhere, it would be here. Watching Mehl grip Toren’s hair to guide him to a more frenzied pace. Feeling the burn in her own body. She could bear almost any torture after this.
Then Mehl cried out as he came, and she found new depths to the blessed agony.

By the timeToren returned to the bedroom with the others, he felt as though he’d purged some kind of darkness in himself. Fear, perhaps, of losing Mehl and Ria. Possibly even of his brother’s theat. Whatever it truly was, his steps were lighter, and the harsh press of magic that constantly plagued him had lessened to dull annoyance.
Mehl carried Ria now, and she drowsed adorably against his chest. Toren hadn’t been able to resist taking her again after her reaction to watching him with Mehl. Truth be told, he felt as blissfully replete as she looked, but he wouldn’t be able to appease the pleasant exhaustion that filled him.
Gods help anyone who brought foolishness to morning court. His mood might be light now, but he was far too tired to have patience for the silliest requests, not when he could be here in a sated pile with Mehl and Ria. He would have to ask Feref to carefully screen for the worst of those. With luck, Toren’s reaction to any that slipped through would dissuade the rest.
