“You took a long time in the bathroom,” I said suspiciously.

His eyes did look a bit red and strange.

Maybe hewason drugs.

I wouldn’t have thought a square like Luke O’Neill would be, but he was behaving kind of suspiciously.

“Are you stressed?” I asked.

I hadn’t ever seen him like this, not the way he had spoken to me when he was trying to convince me not to eat the raw fish.
