According to Dean, my father wasn’t a fishing guide, but a drug trafficker. Dean Evans suspects I’m the key to finding a massive shipment of narcotics— me! A freaking history professor, whose idea of a getting lit involves eating cheese and crackers on the fancy plates on my couch.
I have no idea where the drugs are, though Mr. Ex-Marine Dean and the traffickers missed that memo, since they’re still chasing us. But when I realize my dad left a series of clues to a location smack dab in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, I assume the Santu Espiritu is wrecked out there.
