Story: Prey for Me
The thought makes me laugh as I glance back at him.
Water glistens from his toned body, lithe and lethal.
He’s far from a savage. The only savages are the bastards who exiled me here.
He turns to me then, exiting the underground lake gracefully.
My legs wobble, and I fall to my knees.
We’re naked. Laid bare for each other. And from the twinkle in my alpha’s eyes, he likes what he sees.
Heat prickles my skin. Another wave of arousal courses through me.
Usually, I’d damn my omega nature.
But I’m grateful as he lifts me into his arms, only to lay me down on a nest of scavenged pillows.
I only wish we’d met somewhere other than hell disguised as paradise.
Nakoa is the most gentle lover of the three, and that’s not saying much as he knots me, clinging to my ass.
He’s rough but he doesn’t seem to like it rough. He prefers I find my pleasure first before he claims his. It’s a welcome change of pace, and he even seems to be whipping Leo into shape. Raphael? Well, the man would’ve shoved his fangs into my neck while knotting my ass, before ripping my throat out by now if not for him. So, I’d say Nakoa is doing an excellent job with Raphael as well.
I run my fingertips across the base of my neck, wondering why I allowed Nakoa to mark me as his true mate? Allow is a strong word when I was drooling over his dick, begging for more. But he had asked, and that had struck me as the kindest thing an alpha has ever done.
What a depressing though. Nevertheless, it was true. So, I allowed him to. It helped stop my heat spiral, and made sure the other alphas of South Shore left me alone for the most part.
But it felt deeper than that.
Nakoa rubs small circles into my hips, nudging me closer until my body is engulfed by his, his long, jet black hair eclipsing the moonlight.
I lean back into his chest, holding myself as I rock back and forth.
“Trust? Who needs it when I can offer them power.”
“Why the pocket watch?”
“It’s a memento.”
With a sigh he whispers against my neck, “Nakoa Hokulani.”
CHAPTER SIXTEEN
NAKOA
“NakoaHokulani?”
My name whispered on my mate’s luscious lips is like a prayer I’ve long awaited to be answered. She’s so radiant still dripping wet from being pelted by the rain storm, her perky nipples pressing against my chest as I hold her closer.
“Nakoa Hokulani… My apex alpha,”
She repeats my name, and I can’t suppress my shutter, gripping her tightly and holding her close so close in fact that we are hearts that get each other sharing the same faint rhythm.
I know what she’s trying to do, to sway me away from my pack and into the palm of her hand. But can she tell, the look in her eyes? The way she’s getting snared by me? So alluring
It’s a beautiful name. So why do some of them call you Navi? It doesn’t sound like a nickname that names since compared to Raphi.
It’s short for Navigation.
