Mila ended the kiss so she could gasp and pant. “So good.”

Gio kissed her chin and neck. “Both of you, amore mioandbellezza. My flock.”

Still locked tightly in Mila’s body, Carter leaned over and kissed her, then him. “My pack.”

Mila huffed out a chuckle. “My men.”

Carter groaned and dropped his forehead on the pillow next to her. “Please, Mila, don’t laugh!”

That made Gio snicker and soon they were all laughing and gasping. The laughter helped shrink Carter’s knot so he could pull free of Mila’s luscious body. Contentment, happiness, and exhaustion radiated from both his flock.

Carter collapsed on the other side of Mila and wrapped a leg over hers. It took a moment for Gio to realize that the room was being lit up by their auras. He wasn’t sure he’d ever seen that outside of a phoenix.

Gio grinned. His human was a Sun! He'd heard of them but never met one. Carter had said something about it, but Gio hadn’t believed him because Suns were that rare. Her ability to help Carter heal should’ve been Gio’s first clue. He’d been an idiot!

After he’d been turned, he never thought he’d see the sun again. Then magic blessed him with a Sun of his very own.

“We could power the entire island,” he whispered.

Carter made a sleepy-mumbly sound and snuggled in close, throwing an arm over both Mila and Gio. Mila was already sound asleep and didn’t even flutter her eyes open when Carter tightened his hold to squish them all together.

“Thank you,” he whispered, closing his eyes and focusing on the feel of his flock through their soul bond.
