Story: Onyx Realm
The fact that she was using that space today instead of the master bedroom wasn’t lost on me. Neither was the pile of boxes already broken down by the side of the counter. The dishwasher was running, and piqued with curiosity, I rummaged around the kitchen. The fully stocked kitchen.
This condo was only used for sleeping when I was in the city, yet in the space of a day, Serena turned it into a livable dwelling. I looked approvingly at the full cabinets, fridge, and pantry.
My plan to take her back to the village tonight quickly changed as I explored. Maybe a small honeymoon would be just the thing.
Twenty minutes later, Serena emerged. “Will this do, pirate?”
My dick jumped to attention at the sight. She was breathtaking.
The black dress hugged every curve, revealing the slender legs that I longed to have wrapped around me. Her hair was swept back with glittering clips, exposing the elegant column of her neck. The scent of dark flowers and vanilla wafted toward me.
“You’ll do,” I said, deliberately casual despite the way my blood rushed south. “You look good with my mark.”
Her hand flew to her neck where my teeth had left evidence of our heated encounter. A flush crept across her cheeks.
“I didn’t have any makeup for that,” she muttered.
I crossed to her, enjoying the way she instinctively backed up until she hit the wall. Caging her with my arms, I leaned in close, my lips brushing her ear. “Don’t you dare try to hide it. I want everyone to know exactly what we’ve been doing, prinkípissa.”
“We haven’t done anything!” she snapped.
“Not yet.” The dark promise hung between us.
Serena’s inhale was sharp, but her chin tilted up in defiance. “Where are we going that requires me to dress up?”
“Olympus.”
Her eyes widened slightly. “You’re joking.”
“Why would I joke about that?” I mused, gently plucking a strand of hair and pulling it over her shoulder. It was like fucking silk between my fingers. I wanted to wrap it around my fist as I drove into her.
Soon....
“You call yourselves the Twelve, and you have a place called Olympus? Isn’t that a little egotistical to compare your organization to the ancient gods?”
My little captive knew a surprising amount about our dealings. And according to Evangelia, Serena had figured it all out on her own.
But of course she did.She was a damn good spy after all.
“Life is short, why not have a little fun while we live?” I coaxed.
Serena snorted. “And what are we doing there?”
I nodded, enjoying her feigned disinterest. “My presence is required. Which means yours is too, wife.”
“I’m not arm candy, Markos.”
“No.” I uncoiled the strand of hair from my fingertip. “You’re much more dangerous than that.”
She pulled away from my touch.
I backed up, opening the door. As she passed through, I leaned down to whisper, “I know that Evangelia spilled our secrets.”
Serena faltered. “She didn’t mean to! I pried.”
Her loyalty to my cousin was admirable. But I wasn’t about to let her know how easily my cousin had gotten off.
“Did you hurt her?” Serena hissed as I locked the condo door.
