“Yes…”
And then he moved on top of me.
I gasped as he entered me without warning, stealing my breath. I hadn’t even realized when he had taken off my panties.
His palm covered my mouth, his eyes locked with mine.
“Don’t make a sound,” he whispered darkly, a teasing edge to his voice. “You don’t want them hearing how much you like this, do you?”
“Oh… umm… mmm…”

Chapter 52
AVNI
It was six in the morning, and the house was buzzing with excitement. Kavya and Rhea, my sister-in-law, were flitting around like happy birds, their voices chirping from the next room. Today was the start of our two-day trip, a weekend we had all been looking forward to. Luckily, Aryan had managed to get two days off from work. I would be lying if I said I wasn't just as thrilled, especially since our friends, Prashant and Saurav, were coming too.
Saurav had only arrived yesterday, stopping by quickly to say hello before heading off with his own friends. He promised to meet us promptly at seven. I looked at Aryan, who was, as usual, deep in thought on his laptop, finishing up a few things before he could truly relax for two days.
Over the past couple of months, I had noticed in Aryan that his dedication to work seemed to be his top priority. He wouldn't think twice about canceling plans if his duty needed him, even on holidays. He said this was a temporary transfer and he could take a weekend off, but he still chose to work.
He wasn't big on resting or staying home, but he really valued our evenings together, always trying to come home early fordinner. I was happy with any time he gave me, because when he did, it was truly our time, and absolutely nothing got in the way.
"This dress looks good on you," I heard Kavya exclaim from the next room.
Aryan, next to me, rolled his eyes and rubbed his temple. He put up with Rhea because, well, she was his sister. But Kavya? Sometimes he had jokingly asked if he could just throw her out in the middle of the night. Even our dog, Jimmy, would make room for her. That thought always made me laugh. He was clearly relieved that these two lively women would finally be out of our house for a couple of days.
"No, this one is okay," Rhea's voice replied.
I walked over to Aryan and placed a steaming cup of tea next to his laptop.
"Much needed," he mumbled, his eyes still on the screen, a small smile playing on his lips. "Thank you."
I smiled back and went to the next room where Kavya and Rhea were getting ready for the trip. We had only half an hour before we had to leave, and their clothes were spread everywhere.
Kavya stood in front of the mirror, posing. She wore a V-neck, tight tank top that showed off her figure, paired with baggy jeans. Her hair was tied in a messy ponytail, and she was carefully putting on lip gloss. She looked like one of those effortlessly stylish women you see in big cities, all confident and put-together.
Rhea, on the other hand, had chosen a slim-fit light blue jumpsuit, her hair falling over her shoulders. She looked beautiful too. I, true to my style, had picked a simple long-flared dress. I wasn't into designer clothes and never felt comfortable in them.
"Should I wear shorts?" Kavya wondered aloud, still checking herself in the mirror.
"No, you look perfect," I told her, then looked at the huge suitcase in the corner. "But we're not taking that suitcase. We don't have enough space."
Kavya spun around, a look of disbelief on her face.
"We're going on a two-day trip, staying at a hotel for two nights. What are we supposed to wear if we don't take clothes?"
"But don't you think that one is a bit... big? We can just carry our duffel bags and fit a couple of changes of clothes in there."
"That bag is not going," Aryan's voice echoed from behind us, his finger pointing firmly at the large suitcase. "We're eight people."
"Eight people?" I frowned, giving him a confused look.
"Saurav is bringing his best friend, Karan Shekhawat, and also Ira..." He hesitated, a slight pause before he said his ex-girlfriend's name.
"Oh no!" Rhea blurted out, her eyes wide. "Not that drama queen."
