Story: Marking Mia
“Great. Meet me in the living room in thirty minutes. That’ll give us both a chance to get ready. Wear comfortable shoes.”
“So, where are we headed?” Mia asks as she clicks her seatbelt in the passenger seat, half an hour later.
“You’ll see. I think you’ll like it,” I reply, pulling the car out of the driveway to head east. I could find this spot blindfolded. My wolf gives me excellent direction, but it’s more than that. This place has always been a sanctuary for me— a retreat from the bustling city and the demands of pack territory.
Her honey scent fills the car, driving me wild with desire. I imagine her beneath me, legs spread as I fill her with my knot.
But I take deep breaths to calm myself. I can’t scare her now.
As we leave the city, Mia grows more curious. She pays close attention to every road sign, but I can tell she’s still wary around me. I feel her heartbeat slow as she rolls down her window and breathes in the fresh air.
“Here we are,” I finally say as we pull up at the lookout.
Mia doesn’t waste any time climbing out of the passenger seat. For a moment, I just sit back and watch her head toward the edge of the lookout, her hair blowing in the wind. Winter is thawing into spring, and the beauty of the outlook complements Mia perfectly.
After giving her a few moments, I climb out of the car as well, grabbing a blanket from the backseat before walking upbehind her. The view from the lookout stretches out before us, and I take a deep breath of the crisp forest air.
We stand there for a moment, neither of us speaking.
Mia tenses at my approach, quickly turning around. “Do you usually have picnics here? I never thought a big guy like you would be into stuff like this.”
I chuckle as her words tumble out, rushed and uncomfortable. She’s cute when she’s nervous.
“Believe it or not, Mia, I have hobbies. And I have emotions.”
“I’m sure you do,” she replies, looking away, her cheeks flushing a gorgeous pink that I want to kiss.
To put her at ease, I spread the blanket on the grass near the edge of the lookout. She eyes me warily as I head back to the car and grab the thermos from the backseat.
“I thought you might appreciate some tea,” I say. “It’s English Breakfast. I noticed you making it in the kitchen a few times.”
Even though I just had coffee, the drive makes me a little thirsty, and I want her to feel comfortable.
Mia offers me a small smile and nods in response. We both sit down on the blanket, looking out at the stunning forest beyond. It's breathtaking, and it feels right to share this moment with such a gorgeous omega.
Her honey scent envelops me, distracting me as I pour two cups of tea and hand her one. For a moment, our hands almost touch, and I hold my breath. More than anything, I want to touch her again, but I don’t want to scare her away.
Silence settles between us as we take in the view. There’s something about this companionable quiet that loosens something in my chest. I feel like I can breathe easier.
“You know, I’m the leader of our little pack,” I say, tracing my thumb along the edge of my cup. “It’s not always easy. The weight can get a little heavy sometimes, but when I think ofthe trust that Finn and Jace put in me, I owe it to the pack to make difficult decisions.”
Mia listens with rapt attention, her cup in both hands.
“About me?” she asks.
“Yes, I don’t want to rush into anything,” I said. “For you to be our girlfriend.”
“Our…?”
“As in, you’ll belong to each of us,” I say slowly. She thinks she’s human, so I need to tread carefully here. If she knew the full extent of being an omega wolf, she would run screaming for the hills. She would be in full heat soon. I could feel it.
Once that happens, Mia will need to take in all our knots repeatedly for days.
Her breathing is growing heavier, and I can smell her arousal rising from between her thighs. I just want to rip her dress open and fuck her until the moon shines above or until her belly is swollen from my knot.
“What decision did you make about me?” she finally asks, licking her lips as her face reddens under my gaze. “Do you even want me here, or am I wasting my time?”
“I want you,” I reply without missing a beat.
