Story: Jameson
Then I turned and a jolt ran through me.
Greer stood in the doorway watching me.
Through the steamy glass she unashamedly looked at my body. My cock hardened, lengthened, and I saw her chest hitch.
She shot me a look, then walked back into the bedroom.
I quickly soaped up, then did it again. I knew better than to leave any monster crud on my body. Finally, I shut the water off, and toweled myself dry.
I looked at my reflection in the mirror. Yeah, maybe I wasn’t a head-turner, and my body had more than a few scars. But Greer wanted me.
And I wanted her. Damn any consequences.
I wrapped the towel around my waist and stepped out of the bathroom.
Greer was standing by a chair. There was a first aid kit open on the table.
“Sit.” She pointed at the chair.
I sat and saw her gaze run over my bare chest. I cleared my throat. “I already have a few scars. Another one isn’t a problem.”
She lifted her hand and traced a scar on my pec. It was an old one I’d gotten from monster claws. It had happened when I’d been young and cocky and new to the squad. I’d learned to move faster after that.
Then her fingers moved up to the raw marks on my neck, and my thoughts scattered.
“This oneisn’tgoing to scar.” She reached into the first aid kit, then started cleaning the wound.
I controlled my wince at the sting and at the tart anger in her voice.
“I did my job, Greer. Sometimes, I have to take risks to save lives.”
“You were almost killed.”
“No, I trust my squad. I knew they’d have my back.” I touched her chin and our gazes met. “And I knew you’d have my back. I saw you with the carbine. You’re a hell of a shot. Used todrive me crazy when we were kids that you were better than me with a carbine. I always wanted to impress you.”
“You did. You do.” She sighed. “You’re so damn brave, a damn hero. You saved Lisa’s life.”
“I’m sorry you were scared.”
“I don’t want to lose you.”
I grabbed her hand. “Not gonna happen.”
She nodded. “Now, hold still.” She applied some med gel to my scratch. I felt a tingle as it worked. Then she pressed a bandage over the deepest part of the angry gash.
I absorbed the brush of her fingers. Her hands were on me, and I liked that so damn much. I was already fighting a hard-on, and the towel didn’t hide very much.
“I’m going to give you a shot to fight off any infection.” She pressed a pressure injector to the side of my neck.
“Thanks, Greer.”
“I’m not done yet.”
I looked up. Then I watched as she set the injector back into the first aid kit, then sank to her knees in front of me. She pressed her hands to my thighs.
My muscles tensed. “Greer?”
“Your injuries are treated, but… I need more.”
