Story: Hotshot
Sloane did it again, then once more, until Ella’s muscles went weak and her body shook. Then, just when Ella sucked in a huge breath, Sloane slipped her tongue in fully and sealed the moment with a woozy stampede of a kiss.
The lights flickered in Ella’s soul. From a slow start, Sloane had suddenly sped up, and Ella was willingly dragged along for the ride.
All Ella’s senses flooded with sensation. Butterflies swirled in her stomach and surged through her veins. Her heart stamped an insistent beat. Her legs rattled. Her arms tightened around Sloane’s slim waist and never wanted to let go.
Still Sloane kissed her, in a hazy, dreamy, drugged-up state. If the police broke in now, they’d arrest Ella for being under the influence. And she was. Under the influence of one star striker. Sloane Patterson. Hotshot extraordinaire.
She smiled at her own thoughts, then pressed her lips further onto Sloane’s.
She let out a small groan, right into Ella’s mouth. It travelled all the way down her body and ended up throbbing right between her legs. Ella could already feel how wet she was. How it wouldn’t take much to open her legs and welcome Sloane in.
Her eyes sprang open.
Sloane’s eyes were on her.
When their gazes locked, Sloane eased her kissing, and then broke their connection.
Ella wilted like a sunflower in winter. She wanted Sloane back. She’d never had that feeling before in her life. Now she’d had it, she never wanted to let it go.
Sloane’s eyes searched Ella’s before she spoke. “Was that okay?” She sounded fearful of the answer. It made Ella want to laugh uncontrollably.
“That was so much more than okay.” She leaned forward and kissed Sloane once again.
An arrow of lust shot through her. Yep, way more than okay.
“That was wholly delicious in the best possible way.”
Sloane grinned, slid a hand into Ella’s hair, then dropped another light kiss on Ella’s lips.
Ella’s head spun once more.
“Well, okay.”
Ella’s chest rose and fell in quick succession as her heart rate thundered on. She wasn’t sure it would ever slow with Sloane this close. She suspected this might now be her new normal. She glanced at the skin just below Sloane’s neck. Could she lean forward and lick it with the tip of her tongue like she wanted to? Not unless they wanted this to progress tonight.
Shereallywanted this to progress tonight. Every single pulse point in her body told her so.
However, she had a train to catch tomorrow morning very early. A client to see and prepare for. She couldn’t stay up all night kissing Sloane. She definitely couldn’t let this progress to fucking Sloane. Her clit pulsed at the thought, and she squeezed her thighs together. She was going to have to park this.
“But this is as far as this goes.” Ella closed her eyes at her words. Was she mad? Maybe.
Sloane cleared her throat.
Ella opened her eyes. Sloane’s gaze shone back at her. Her perfect blue eyes were so bright, it was as if they were Sloane’s personal floodlights.
“You’re killing me.” Sloane swept a hand down Ella’s side, and her thumb grazed Ella’s breast.
A loud whirring noise started in Ella’s brain. Was it her mind and body, sobbing with regret? If they weren’t already, they would be soon.
“If this is something we’re going to do, I want to do it properly.” She glanced at Sloane’s injured foot. “I don’t want to risk furthering your injury.” Ella paused. “Plus, I have a very early train to catch tomorrow. If we don’t stop, I don’t think I’d get much sleep tonight.” She knew that for a fact.
The grin that crept over Sloane’s face only confirmed it. “I know you’re right.” She shook her head as she spoke. “But damn, I didn’t realise this boot repelled women.”
Ella leaned in and kissed Sloane again. Their kisses were perfection. She already knew she was going to slap herself when she was in bed alone later. But it was the right decision.
“I’m not repelled, just to be clear.” Ella shifted a few inches away from Sloane. “I hope my kisses showed you that.”
Sloane nodded. “They did.”
